HV30 capturing problem - Sony Vegas & HDV Split

If I play the footage on the camera regularly, it plays fine. When I'm capturing footage, it stops every 3 seconds or so, in turn making it stop capturing... only it's not the end of the tape, end of the footage, or even the end of the scene for that matter. Any idea what's going on?

my mom has a 64 bit computer and she doesn't know how to find out if it is or not. so it might be if he has the intelligence of my mother.

Well I'm not an idiot, just don't know that. I'm pretty sure it's 32 bit, but am not positive

i have vista 64 and am having the same problem. does anyone know how to fix it?

mine is 64bit, it works fine.

have you used the tape over and over..?

right click my computer, properties, it wil say system type: 64bit or 32bit

And I cant capture with my 64bit laptop, i have to cap on my other computer and move it on a hard drive
