Go to future shop and get a usb fire wire it works just very slow

go buy a firewire port. do you have a desktop? if so you can probably just plug it in its not hard. i got one for like 30 bucks with a cable too. im pretty sure its called a pci solt you plug it in to or something like that...anyway my computer had 3 empty ones and it was a piece so you should look into that i bet youl be able too

thats a pcmcia card which gives you 2 firewire ports, at pretty much full speed as well. not sure if they plug into desktops as well. just go to a specialised computer shop and ask them what you need.
