Man they are fucked down there in the gulf, Hurricane rita is the third most powerful hurrican ever recorder. Its headed just to the west of where katrina just was. I feel bad for the people down there

actually only 3 storms in recorded history have made landfall in the U.S. as a cat 5 so i don't think so.

50% more category 4 and 5 hurricans with a 1 degree rise in Ocean temp, what will happen when the ocean rises another 2 degrees! Are we gonna hafta make a category 6 or 7 storm????

215 mph winds. 50 foot waves, it is the most hardcore hurricane recorded now. it moved up to Class 5 and is said to be above. it needs its own class

Check out how much $$$ the oil companies made after Katrina. Its all about business, and its their fault that the prices keep going up. Almost half of the oil we use comes from the states anyway.

 
yeah i was talking about that with a couple people today. we predicted that they'll get evacuated up north, yet still get hit by a hurricane

Anyway, a gas station we pass. We got gas, and ran off to get grub.It was a nice little pub in the middle on nowhere. Anywhere woulda been better. I ordered enchiladas and I ate 'em, Ali had the fruit punch.

rita is not the fucking strongest storm in history its actually fucking 3rd and it wont be the third strongest when it hits land because its going to lose fucking neergy it will still be strong but its too far away from land right now to even fuckign judge what the winds will be when it hits land...and think about how fucking long we have been actually recording hurricanes...just fucking think people its not a difficult task

Who cares if it's the biggest hurricane or the 3rd biggest hurricane or the 50th biggest!!! That's not the point. It's still a huge storm and it's going to cause alot of damage.

Yeah, newsflash buddy, Texas, Mississippi, and Louisiana are in the United States. So when a hurricane hits the places where "half"(its actually more like %40, not half) the oil is refined and drilled, then prices go up.
