by thursday or friday the east coast might get slammed by hurricane isabella, which is currently a category 3. pretty heinous stuff i live right in new york. you think were gonna get fucked up?

I'd imagine so, they said even where I am, which is norther Vermont is going to get some pretty hard rains etc.

Usually the huricanes hit from Florida up to the Carolinas, but I guess this one's a lot farther north (we were talking about it today in Contemporary Problems, and I guess it's supposed to hit anywhere from North Carolina up to New Jersey or something).

Whoever said to go ands surf it, the waves right now are 6-8 feet, and they expect them to top out around 12 feet. So there really isnt anything that spectacular to go and surf.

haha, in hurricane floyd a couple of the school busses from my school got caught and the kids had to climb up on top of it until the rescue crew came with a boat to get them off...

sorry, I just though surfing + standing on top of school bus in flood = surfing on a school bus

yeah the ty3's are fun they make you sleep. and gettin put out is sooooo fun. you dont even realize you close your eyes & suddenely your in some random room and you cant feel anything. hahaha its fun

On the Subject of gettin put out, I remember for my knee, they injected this 'relaxant' that was Soo cool and was cold and sorta tense i guess and then they put that stuff in... i felt go up my arm and then in an instant I was soo chill, then they took me to the surgery room and put on the mask and then i was out and dont remember anything till i got up

 
^haha probably not. and its category 2 now. we're supposed to get 10-12 foot waves here (cape cod!) and we usually get 2-4 foot waves, sometimes 6-8 so whoever said dont surf it, fuck off because those are good waves. head high is good, but 10-12 is crazy here

its become a big pussy storm now, what a letdown. i was hoping to lose power for a week or so and not have to go to school and just chill. but now its heading straight for virginia and the carolinas and when it gets to me its gonna be nothing but a thunderstorm.

I'm getting all four out... so yeah my face will be pretty fucking huge and bulbous.. Ive also never had an operation before... and i dont know what its like to be but asleep... I hope that the anesthetics are good... ill be starring at the fish tank in the hospital four hours.

 
man, all your lucky northerners... no it isnt a pussy storm, you just wont get it. Hurricanes lose lots of power when they hit land, so it will dissipate before it gets up there. I, on the other hand, have moved everything out of my room and am sleeping upstairs. We are going to get owned by the storm in a couple of hours...

Right now Hershey PA is getting hit. We've got crazy high winds. We have a 2 hour delay from school and the rain hasn't been too bad yet. It's been raining on off since about 4 pm and now its getting a little more constant but it isn't too hard. The gusts of wind are averaging at 32 mph.

they closed my school (in pa) and the power was out for about 4 hours... that's about the extent of the damage, there wasn't hardly any flooding or anything
