Hunting yeti

its going to be so sick!!!! i like the fact that theres gonna be footy of non pro or am skiers. theres a whole bunch of kids who slay it hard but never get exposure. and the whole documenting the culture aspect is ill to, newschool skiing isnt a sport (to me) its an art and a way of life its so awesome that those guys understand that and put out a movie for all those cats who feel that concept!!!!! thank goodness for that whole crew!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! huge props.

HAHA, I thought this was gonna be about Yeti, that NS mod.

Anyway... there's a thread on this already, but dope nevertheless

i think they are a bit off this one. if we watch all the free videos why do we need to see the one that recaps all the episodes? they wont make much money.

Im sure a large number of people will still buy the DVD, im guessing it will be edited differently, so why not

im guessing there will be a lot of different footage and barely and repeated footage. i could be wrong though.

"My name is Eric Pollard, and I am far too serious about skiing."

His voise alone made me not stoked for the movie. Come on man! Lighten up! I want to hear a smile in your voice!

it's gonna be sick. getting to see footy basically right after they get it! and the final dvd will be a dope ass movie, not a recap of the webisodes. i'm excited as hell about this project. thanks boys

Music to my eyes and ears. This is sick, they should film with snowboarders as well and ooof this should be sick.

if the point is to document whole sessions good and bad then i wulldnt think they would have allot of unreleased footy for the final video

exited to see how the first webisode goes

this is the future of ski movies. so nice to see someone figuring it out by putting that shit up for free

.40.00 bucks for a dvd sucks. with ski prices already so high it is nice to see someone giving back.

nice work boys!

i'm so stoked to see this project come out, it's about time the ski industry did something like this and the fact that it comes from pollard, fujas, mahre and benchetler makes me all the more excited, i loved idea, it was a fresh of breath air and this seems like it will be above and beyond what idea was. i will be excitedly awaiting the releases of each "webisode" and will be purchasing the dvd based on my overall stokeage of the webisodes. this series will be the cure for those who thought idea was too short, it looks like they're having a lot of fun doing these projects.

I think this might be ok. The main reason is that it is on the internet and will be free. The 3 primary skiers did not really impress me in the movie ideas. as i stated before, they rarely (if ever) did any tricks harder than a 720. i assume that they learned some new tricks though as they get better at skiing and if they spend all season working hard. they really should get some other better skiers though because it can be really boring watching those 3 guys (and some other dude I have never heard of) ski an entire movie.

you're gay. "get some other better skiers" ??? find me someone better than pep. find me some clowns that spin over 7 that stomp as hard switch in the pow pow as they do. i'm not saying this solely based on IDEA but their other segments as well. mahre kills it. kills it. it's not the trick itself that makes a shot hard, it's also the terrain they throw it on. you throw a one over pyramid and see what happens. everyone can spin a seven, not everyone can bring the smooth flow and stomp game like they can. i'm stoked to see it. if you're not then don't watch.

i am not gay. i have a girlfriend named amy.

what kind of terrain is harder than a "terrain park"? it is a whole place with jumps and rails set up for tricks. those landings are really hard if you land on the flat part of the jump. doing stuff in soft powder is way easier. when i fall in powder it never hurts and plus they have skis that are way bigger than mine so it makes their tricks way easier to do.
