I just can't handle that shit, way over hyped. Nothing fresh about it, every edit has the same boring style. And they clame to be all about the BC and shit, well from what I've seen their BC sucks. In my opinion all the east coast am vids are way more sick, and showcase way more skill.

Just way over hyped, you peeps should respect some am companys do originesh shiz.

what you must know is we love slandis here on NS, he makes us laugh, so no matter what we're gonna back him up. but you're still wrong, poorboyz seems to think so, cuz landis films for them part time, and surface seems to think he is a true talent to have them on their team.

so go take your hate elsewhere

i partially agree... not really at all though, i agree that he is over hyped, but i suppose he deserves it. And to the thread creator... hungry sloth is an am company, it just looks pro cause slandis owns.
 
I don't believe he was calling the Sloth pro by any means. And there are def. other companies out there that put out stuff that is just as good if not better
 
Yes, doing multiple spins on rails and hucked spins on tiny icy jumps is better than big cliffs and BC booters, good one kid.
 
its good to see such editing skill from someone so young for sure. the skiing will come along just as fast as his progression with his camera.
 
well. the hungry sloth skiing isnt the greatest stuff but landis is the man and way talented at filming and editing and still has quite a bit of ski skill as well. props for that. but i see what you mean about th east stuff. all the i hate ny boys are really dong some original shit. check the line site
 
making "edits", no video has been made it takes a lot more to put out a full DVD vid than post some edits online. His shit def. looks sick

I'm sure it will be wayy legit in the future.
 
Landis is an amazing filmer I will completely give him that. The hungry sloth skiing is decent, some is pretty neat. The editing is ok, so much slo mo, cool, but just not my thing.
 
Hmmm......I have watched a lot of the hungry sloth edits and for a 16 year old Landis can pull off some really good editing and the skiing is just as good and better than most of the skiers can pull of at my mountain. Hungry sloth will prob go huge in the future so watch outtttt....

 
This kids a prodigy. You're the first person I've seen on here who dislikes him. Seriously, his editing is fucking amazing, he doesn't make any typical thug skiing videos. How isnt this kid original? This kid will obviously go somewhere in life for his editing/filming abilities. You obviously dont understand talent when you see it.
 
No video can please everyone. In my opinion, if a video is made so diverse just to appeal to everyone, it will have no flow and lose integrity.

That being said, Hungry Sloth makes videos for people who like to listen to electronica music and watch slow motion, jumps, and minimal rails.

You seem to like the east coast vids more for their intense and crazy tricks. I respect them for what they're doing.

Everybody has a preference.
 
if he was completely humble he wouldn't be posting in this thread, he would completely ignore it. tbc = extremely good riding, h sloth = ok skiing
 
This is totally an alias, the real person is too much of a pussy to call him out with there normal account. Hungry sloth is awesome because: they have a different style of filming, which i love, not just blaring rap music and being gangster, it's way different. Landis is only 16 and is already making some of the sickest edits on NS, and i like it even more because i live in alaska, and have ridden in some of those places, and seeing what people better than you can do on the same shit, not some superpark on the west coast is really cool.
 
i agree. everything about his edits is so fresh and different to all the other east coast park edits with the same tricks over and over. i love hungry sloth..

dude. some people like gainers off 60 foot cliffs and some people like 630's onto rails. its just preference. But how can you hate on slandis. hes growing a tree in his locker and has a pet sloth.
 
i agree that the skiing in the edits isnt the best ive ever seen but still really good.... and its original like the jump over the lake and the edits have really good flow

Filming for PBP at 15? I'm pretty sure the term prodigy is defined as someone with a rare talent, usually at a young age. If you dont consider Landis a 'rare talent,' I dont know what you would think..
