Hunger Games

just because there similar does not mean she took stuff. Everyone hated on the eragon books because they were similar to lotr but if you actually read them its totally different. If someone had a case for plagiarism you can bet they would take it.
 
I know but you kinda already know how it's going to end and you can predict what is going to happen... it just make the movie boring IMO of course haha because it seem like a lot of people like it.
 
I have to compare the book and movie for my writing class. Not stoked seeing as I have not read/seen either
 
related enough: I hated how they shot the entire film, way too much zoomed-in-on-hair follicle and shaking the camera like they were in a tsunami. i left with a headache from the strobing screen. cool plot though
 
Everyone hated the Eragon books because they were poorly written, and took themes from all major fantasy series while having a very choppy style.

and i just about screamed the whole movie because they got so many small details wrong. Pissed the absolute fuck out of me
 
does not live up to the hype every teenage girl makes it out to be. I was pretty fucking bored watching it, not good.
 
not gonna lie, watched it somewhat hungover, had a huge tub of extra butter popcorn basically to myself, a small lemonade and it all ended in a pile of puke in the parking lot afterwards...not the best movie experience thats for sure.
 
I disagree.

Katniss wasnt as cool in the book as she was in the movie, it was a huge improvement imo.

And i didnt think there were any big things left out. i would have liked it if they did the dogs how the book did it instead of just letting them be dogs. but it wasnt crucial

I thought the movie was great
 
Despite know exactly what was going to happen, having not read the book, I enjoyed it. Strikes me as your standard young adult fiction.

i didnt read the book but the story was really predictable, although enjoyable. i didnt really care though because that chick was fucking attractive.
 
da fuck are you on. the gamer was made after the hunger games books were created. Also when people say collins copyright other books, obviously they are different or else a group of kids on a ski website wouldn't have noticed and also those other books did no where near as good as Hunger Games so blame the writers of those books for not doing as good and congratulate collins on making $300 million in the box office cause obviously it was a good movie.

get your shits right, we are talking about the movie and obviously, hunger games was made after the gamer... Maybe the books are good(I didnt read them) but the movie was definitely not. IMO of course because some of you guys dont understand that we all have different opinions...
 
I'm well aware but people are saying that the movie was a stolen idea from gamer. Obviously it wasn't, they made the movie based off the book that was written before Gamer was filmed.
 
Yes, our opinions are different. My opinion is that you opporate at an intelegance level somewhere between an orangutan and a water buffalo. My guess is that you have a different, albeit incorrect, opinion of your intelegance level.
