Humans in captivity

has anyone ever wondered why we strive for control. why do we allow ourselves to be thrown into this constant state of affairs that control us. if you reflect on what pleases you, it runs your life. you live your life based on what you think pleases you. But how can you know what pleases you if your environment is a reflection of you. The sense of identity in humans is incredible. we see ourselves as a soul within our shielding of skin and everything outside of our command center is certainly not us. we say i have a body not i am a body. meaning were just driving our cars around until our cars die.

If this is true then it explains why there is so much conflict. this fully automatic way of living creates a barrier between what is real and what we perceive as real.

we need to lose this barrier and except the fact that we just like all aspects of nature are simple mechanism. and we need to not allow ourselves to be controlled by means of measurement. for example money. a thing used to measure the amount of gold we have. its like saying we cant build toady, we ran out of inches.

The physical world is troublesome.

If only our money was actually backed by something like gold...

I get what you're saying.. for such a deep thought you could have at least pretended you made in through middle school English. Hard to follow bad punctuation and no capitals.

It was at one point until kind of recently (maybe 50's? forgot exactly). Would skew the value of currencies on the world market today. Can't see it working again because gold is a finite resource...plus would screw everything up considering US dollar is the world currency and oil is traded in USD

Word I do not know enough about our dollar to comment. I just know enough to correct OP about it not being backed by gold.

Great read, unbelievable that humans could do this to each other it makes me sick

Was hoping for a conspiracy theory regarding human zoos in alien civilization.

Or maybe we are in a zoo like the san diego zoo, or some wildlife preserve or something.

Always being watched, but blissfully ignorant.

I was excited for that thread
