My friend is doing a really big assignment on this and she asked if I could ask you guys what you thought. Are you for or against, and for what reasons?

I feel it's a technology that we are barging into without understanding enough about it or it's possibilities first. good be great, good be horrifically aweful. Too much playing good and not enough knowledge...yet.

I think stem cell research is good and it kinda borderlines on cloning but cloning human beings is messing with nature. I don't want to be around when you don't know who is real and who is a clone.

ya, obviously it's good on the small scale.. but who's to say what could happen in the future. what if hitler had the ability to clone masses of people that he would have had fighting in his army? i think that a limit has to be put somewhere - i dunno what it could be, but people definitely have to be careful.

 
I think it shouldn't be done. Think about it, it would be really freaky if you saw a bunch of the people that looked exactly alike. But I guess its ok to experiment though, but after their done it shouldn't be allowed

The most unfair thing about life is the way it ends. I think the life cycle is all backwards. You should die first, get that out of the way, then go live in an old folks home, then you should get kicked out for being too healthy, go collect your pension, then on your first day at work you should get a gold watch. You go to elementary school, become a kid, you play, you have no responsiblities, you become a little baby, you go back and spend your last 9 months floating around in a spa and then you finish up as an orgasm!

I'm cool with cloning human organs for medical reasons, but not the entire person. It's unethical because when you clone something (cat, sheep, cow etc.) you automatically have hundreds of unsuccesful experiments. That means hundreds of mutant people suffering for no reason. Not cool.

science is what will just kill us all in the end. they want to make everything more and more perfect or whatever. god had it all planned out in the beginning. we'd be living in perfect balance if it werent for this 'Science' we speak of.... bastard guys.
