Huge tear in snowpants....

Didn't notice till I was packing them up again today. I've used duct tape in the past for small tears. Whats the best for big ones? Short term what can I do? I gotta use them tomorrow morning and don't have any extras around. Long term probably bring them to a tailor and have them patch and sew?

Ha ha for tomorrow just wear thin rain pants under your snowpants (or just a super baggy jacket) may be uncomfortable but better then a frozen croch When you get time find a seamstress to sew that up

Needle n thread then duct tape is what I would do
