HUGE rail jam

Dunno WTF that means?! But I own the shop and am putting it on so you should prolly make the effort to contact me before saying such a thing...

ANYWAY!!!

Built a kink box 2day. 6' flat to 6' down off a 5' drop just to warm everyone up and check out the everyone's steeze...put up a 10' vert down ramp w/a kick to a 24' rail (thanks Bradford!) which will prolly horrify a few.

Permission slips/waivers are mandatory and I'm gonna make you wear a helmet that day. Like it or don't. You're wearing a helmet on Saturday.

It's all good.

12-330 open session. 330-400; 10 best skiers, 10 best boarders throw down. Prizes then. Sign up starts at 1100.

If you want to get ahead of the line, show up with the printed copy of the permission slip... last time I'm posting it is now...copy the "Read More" under Rail Jam, print it and have it signed when you show up. http://www.summitskiandsnowboard.com/

fuck of course neither of my parents are home so i cant take their cars its like 20 minutes from my house, maybe ill ride my moped

framingham = not so great setup.

gunstock = wayyyyyyy too crowded.

neither was very good, but gunstock had potential, I left early.

the gunrock had a curved box, flat down rail, and flat box.. all setup pretty well with a decent inrun. however, there were honestly a hundred + kids there. I wai6ted in line for like 30 mins to hit it once and said fuck it.

if summit had better rails it would've been sick. i think that the problem was they had been planning on using that long metal flat rail that was used as the backstop kinda thing, but it was too long and close to the road. still, i got a ton of hits in and won a line ski bag so i was stoked. they said that since they bought alot of the equipment, it will really open them up to having many more jams in the future. hopefully they will get some better rails for the next one, but overall it was pretty fun. even if i got worked about 20 times with 270 ons

^no idea who got em

i mustve gotten 30+ runs in though, it was a wicked good day for me. too bad i couldnt get my switch ups cleaner, oh well

dude, tele skier, you were absolutely killing it.

no one got the skis cuz the boarder who attempted the backflip won...so they are gonna keep the skis...maybe sell em in the shop...and give him a snowboard worth the same amount.

It was put on well, the rails where shit but everything else made up for it. The final was kinda stupid, but i got to ski a bunch.

yeah i would definitely rather get like 60+ hits on a mediocre setup than 5 on a better one. i got to learn 270 ons too so that was bueno

started a new thread to kinda explain what went down...

Tele-man rocked!

skis are going to the second place overall winner...might be Matt Morrison???

The snowboarder who did the backflip didn't win. It was the other boarder from Killington who won (Jeff). Backflip guy (Nate) showed up random cuz his girlfriend goes to FSC. He was riding in his sneakers! And he used my board, and destroyed it...
