as far as spins go, sometimes ppl can't throw in grabs so the spins are either hucked or pencilled. alot of ppl say that huckin spins are gay, but pencilled doesn't really look the greatest either, so which is better to do?

neither, you just need to learn how to spin with your hips,

trust me, it will make your spins look more fluid and leave your lower and upper body able to throw grabs.

If your having trouble with this, keep your legs about shoulder width apart. Find a jump that gives you enough time in the air not to huck it. If your hucking it, try to rotate with your whole body more, instead of just your arms and shoulders. Once you have it down, throw a safety grab in there.

Hucked: thrown hard and with little style, done either because the jump is too small, ot because you're doing a new trick.

Penciled-Out: see a moguls comp. see how they spin. that is pencilled. for on-axis spins, people tend to be penciled out when they huck, but not the other way around.
