who won the over all, and the boyne meeting? i couldnt make it, settled for caberfae, and ill never do that again....

hahaha, you actually went to the caberfae big air? oh god, I pity you. some sick stuff went down at the huck fin, I wasn't there saturday but watched the video and it was sick. On sunday we had a sweet pipe session, the boys were going off.

The comp was pretty good. There were some questions in the judging but isnt there always. Cork 720s took 1st 2nd 3rd in the 14-17 and 1st 2nd in the 18+

The results were i believe

14-17 YEAR OLDS

18+

2) Kelly Armitrout

3) Teddy Knape

There was some really sweet stuff being thrown down before the conditions got hard with the 60 degree weather. Switch Misty 900s, Flat Spin 720s, Cork 1080s.

i talked to hornbeck today, he said that the cork 7s were/are getting way over rated, thats really dumb how one trick took 5 top spots. Yeah, caberfae was quite an....expeirence....ill never be there again.

agreed. I think that Mike deserved the Salomon Sponsorship (they gave a Salomon Sponsorship to the winner) He went huge and did a smooth flat spin 720, and was the only one doing them in the comp, wheras there were a ton of people doing Cork 720s and i would say a cork 720 is easier than a flat 720.

What was the deal with Caberfae? I hear that comp is a joke?

Yeah, the corked 7 is getting way played out...

Anyway dude, Caberfae is actually a kick-ass resort besides the fact that it doesnt have a park, and the management sucks ass. During the winter it gets awesome powder and has some pretty nice 'backcountry.'

well the caberfae 'comp' had about a 8 foot table, a 3 foot high 'spine' and a 4 foot 'quater pipe' haha, actully i agree with ya ethan, they have a TON of potential on that hill, its too bad it isnt explored. But it would prolly be a good mountain for riding, there wasnt much open when we there. but the caberfae comp was fun, but next year ill be at marquette mtn so, i prolly wont ever return to caberfae
