Next season there should be amateur and pro divisions... trying to compete against Jeff Thomas throwing switch rodeo 7's is ridiculous. It was a fun time though.
i agree it would work better, but how many people goto the even that are actually PRO, i mean maybe a few, i guess if your good you just enter the pro division.
yea dude... and um, ski instructors are 'pro' skiers if you wanna get technical. park skiing isn't the only aspect of this sport called skiing. it's not even close to being the leading aspect either (soon, but not right now). why the hell do you think ski instructors are called ski pros sometimes.
the ski world isn't revolved around jumping.

Just remember that everyone gets theirs in the end... have you been naughty or nice?
i hate to burst everyone's bubble, but freestyle skiing is an amateur sport, there is no porfessional freestyle skiing league where ski clubs pay millions of dollars to their athletes. The word 'pro' is overused by the public to describe anyone that is really successful at the sport. It's a generalization and nobodys complaining about it.
ur an idiot super man, anything that is done by anyone, as long as that person is getting paid to do the service or act or wut it may be, is a professional in that sport or wutever is it.
Go out and do the research Howell - a sponsorhip is different from getting paid, Government support is there to keep the 'pride and joy of the nation' above the poverty line. and don't be so cocky, girls 'll think you're compensating for something.
yea - superman's right dude... that shit's amature sports... you win a big competition and what do you win? a pretty f.i.s. gold metal. no novelty size checks there.

'I think an animal orgy would be fun' Holly over the phone after talking about manipulating a bunch of stuffed animals into a big orgy.
The whole pro vs Am is pretty washed out these days. Traditionally a pro is somebody who earns a living (or at least try's to) at their sport but now that we have NHL players in the Olympics it's all gone to shit. That's why we went with age categories. We may use pro and am categories next year as a skill level measuring stick for the competitors. It will make it more comfortable for skiers over 16 to compete if their not overly confident with their skill level, of course the prizing will be better in the pro category.
i like ur thinking caden, haha and wut are u talking about, u can be pro at wutever u want to be as long as u get paid for it, or if u want to break it down, as long as u can live off it, ur pro,
