my mountain has a pipe dragon, its ok but it looses vert real fast. (most likely just my mountain) I went to mountain creek and They had a Zaugg thing and it was much nicer.

there tools to use to cut the pipe, the hpg and the pipe dragon are old skool.. the zaugg is the best.

hpg deffenately, a 17 foot pipe is soooo much better than an 18. no joke. the radius is just so different on the 18. park citys is the best pipe ever

i dunno my mountain ran a pipe dragon last year and it was so much better than the zaugg this year, but i think its just that they didn't give a fuck this year about the park and pipe which is shit

 
timberline has been really good this year with the zaugg. i got film of it working so if i get a chance ill put it on by the way .. they are selling ther hpg...

okemo's got a zaugg, and it is not much different then the dragon, except it allows for a bigger pipe.

 
it all depends on how it is used. it is easier to use a zuag and make a decent pipe but if you use a dragon correctly and take time cutting like june you can make an insane pipe

 
i dont even think tremblant owns one haha but there pipe is pretty good... im guessin they own one but only use it like 5 times a year

iv talked jason flood at tiby and he said that zaugg is the easiest. and that the hpg is a lving hell to work with... the best part of the zaugg is that you can cut really fast. like 20 minuts.. so durin mid day.. you can fix the pipe

i think its more the person running the machine. at stevens pass where i ski they got the pipe dragon from the 02 olympics and that pipe looked pretty sick but the pipe at stevens suxs so i think its more the operator then the actual machine.

 
the hpg and pipe dragon require more time and a much better opererator......

some mountains have a zaugg of dragon but almost never use it. so the pipe is shitty most of the time. okemo does cut the pipe more than any mountain i know
