okay well its pretty close (if not already) to the prime time of most parks. so just say a lill somthing about your park at your local hill and what you think.

for me i go to SHOWDOWN, MT

1. down flat down rail- fun, good setup

2. 40ft. stepup- fun, doesnt give you a lot of hangtime anymore since they kinda shaved the lip down from a few weeks ago.

3. super small table (like maybe 8 feet)- beginger jump meh.

4. 27ft. flat box-pretty fun, the set up could be a little better

5. 10-12ft. flat rail- not to bad its a flat rail

6. up down rail- the way its set up its kinda wierd

7. battleship rail (up flat down)- i havent gotten this rail before but the way its set up you have no speed for it.

8. table- small but its okay, the landing is super short

9. 20ish foot long rainbow box- fun the landing gets bombed out fast so hit it in the morning.

10. 18ft. tall hip jump- really fun, you can get a lot of air and hangtime the landing is fairly long on it but steep.

thats it for showdown. they still havent set up like 5 rails and a box yet though pretty much.

real short steep landings for the first two jumps, and the two times i het the bigger jumps i couldn't notice that there was a landing.... i guess you could say its a little flat. If you like small poppy jumps with no/flat landings hit up snowbowl...

come tomorrow(friday, or this weekend) it may be your last chance..... and if the racers are in the park, people are going to be killed, straight up, ive heard it form like 3 people already.

its a "stepup" but i think now its more of a table due to the way its been groomed. thanks for the steeze points

i remember way back in the day when great divide would stay open until like may. my first time going to great divide was like 3 weeks after showdown closed but that was also when i was 12.

losttrail has 2 parks now and a kiddie park. the new park wich is located right in front of the lodge consist of a sweet table with a massive steep landing then it goes to a rail deck. off to the side of the rail deck is 20 foot table. then theres a barrel stall. at the end theres a sick down box. the park on chair 5 is pretty much a shittier right now. 30 foot down urban style, whale tale, flat down, ufd rail. pryamid hit then the really sketchy table to a even sketchier step up.

there are dirt spots at gread divide now, state snowboarding should be pretty interesting.... jumps are melting away, and things are getting harder and harder to clear. but its still fun.

Honestly, I think the hip is better now then it was then. It certainly has more mass, now that I look at that picture.

It's definitely more comfortable to gap now, but it was fun going that big. That's probably the biggest jump I've hit.

did big sky change anything else?

it looks like im going to thre instead of big mountain.

and if anybody wants to ride, ill be alone :(

Bridger: What is this park thing you speak of? We have "Natural Terrain" features that are so ill, as long as you don't feel the need to go more than 25 feet, or land on a slope.

showdown added a butter box up this weekend, about damn time too, i built that shit and donated it to them.

Big Mountains park got repushed today. The pipe was also cut last night, and if you figured out where the good hits were, you could have a grand time.

losttrial just put in a 30 foot stall at the bottum of the park. they also been saltin there inruns so you can get speed into the table

holy shit 30 foot stall, like tall or long? im gunna bring up salt in a backpack to showdown saturday, i have to hide it in my backpack becasue last week me and a few friends were working on a feature and almost got our passes pulled.

Here are some more pics of Showdown:

the past 3 weeks showdown has been all rails except for early morning due to the flat run the park is and the warm weather. 2 weeks ago it got into the the 50s and last weekend it downpoured rain but they still have a good base and we are looking at a big air this weekend on the water fall which will be good as long as we get the snow the weather man promises this week and they put lots of salt in the in run

so as surprising as is... big skys park crew actaully got off of their lazy asses and salted the pipe and take offs of all of the jumps ( all 2 of them...) so that was pretty cool i geuss. the pipe was really easy to get out of, they cut!!! and it was salted.

dude i keep tellin the guys at showdown to put a bag of salt out in the park and let us throw some of the lips and inruns when needed.. but they always just seem to ignore me..
