How's your local mtn. status

30-40 trails open 1 park no big features though. gettin a lot snow in the mountains =] my house doesnt have any though.

Last week we got a tiny dusting of snow just to get everyone's hopes up, then it went back up to like 75 degrees the next day.

Last season was the worst one I have seen in years and this season isn't starting off very well. I noticed the local mountain (Mt High) has their season passes on sale for like $50 less than last years sale. Good price but bad omen.

Tahoe is looking quite dismal... regardless of it being freakin cold outside, not to mention foggy as hell.

Boreal - 1 run. 1 VERY SLOW lift. some sick jibs, but the crowds are a bit ridiculous.

Heavenly - 4 lifts (including Ganjala) and only like 3 runs open that are probably retarded crowded. Zero jibs yet.

Mt. Rose - 1 chair with a couple of super small jibs (basically Boreal with better coverage, and way way less jibs)

Northstar and Kirkwood are currently making snow like mad, but with predicted daytime temps around 40-45 at the base over the next week or 2.. shit looks like continuing bad news.

Mammoth Mountain on the other hand, is in decent shape, with 11 or 12 lifts turning and 15-51 inches of snow.. I have no idea what their park situation is like right now, but knowing mammoth, they probably have at least a few jibs up and running.

Not much snow and not open. But we've been sessionning their rails and boxes for 2 weeks now. Lots of fun...

truth (no hate though). The PNW is sucking some major dick right now. I can't belive some people have already gotten like 15 days in. I wish my hill would make snow.

all manmade snow... but this weekend was fun.

note to self: don't eat the snow in an attempt to quench your thirst... it tastes like chemicals.
pbr is a far better choice than manmade snow

Perfect North Slopes INDIANA has snow. It even has a super rad park setup. A dub dub, 30ft box, a bonk, c-rail, some round rails. But its gonna get changed here soon. Who knows we may even havea small booter this week. Ha sometimes i like living in the midwest
