How's your local mtn. status

ya no fucking kidding. but who knows, last year we werent skiing until like the 2nd week of december and it was the most epic year ever. at least at schweitzer

Our hill opened yesterday with the terrain park and 1 run open. Terrain park had like six boxes, a mini rainbow rail, a 20 footer, and some several random piles of snow turned into makeshift jumps.

well my region (southeast) is doing the best that I can remember for this time of year. Just north of us (Snowshoe) is bomber, they are getting dumped on week in week out.

STEAMBOAT!!!!!!!!!!!! YEEEAAAYEEEAAAAA

3 runs

7 boxes

1 jump

2 side booters

all fake snow until today

Jay peak and killington in Vermont say they have about 50 or so inches so far total and a base of about 20 inches each ... killington also boasts 61 open trails but that mainly includes little conecting trails and upper/middle/lower *whatever* as three open trails

Mt. Hood Meadows has no snow and it doesn't look like it will be here anytime soon. Kinda sucks. Hiked Mt. Bachelor last weekend but they are losing their snow too.

Big Sky

I havent ridden yet (home for thanksgiving)

But

Fake Snow

2 Rails

3 Boxes

3 trails or so open

Bristol has been awesome. No park and it will probably be that way for a while but there are a few jibs scattered across the mountian and a couple rails setup. Good year so far. Normally they're not even open by meow.

No snow, at all. And I live in the PNW, BC to be exact. Last season our jib park opened on November 15th, this season its November 29th, and we have no fucking snow, at all.

grouse = no snow, probably not opening until after xmas.

whistler blackcomb = thin base, but good coverage on runs and decent jib parks.

None of the resorts in my state are even open. I hiked my home mountain today and there was about a foot at the top of one of the lower lifts. Was raining all day. Fuck this weather, im gonna rage soon.

open with park

double kink flat rail, 40 foot pipe thing, 30 foot flat box, 36 foot down rail (round), c rail, small 10 foot ish round bar, up box/launch off deal, barrel bonk... ...no jumps yet, but very soon.

this would be at perfect north slopes.... located in indiana.... best hill in the midwest.

that fact that we are open with jibs before some of you guys out west just boggles my mind lol.

Alta.
you can ski the whole mountain if you really want
we don't have rails or boxes, unfortunately.

a tree jib me and my brother made

a butter pad on this ski patrol hut

Three runs/two lifts

No park setup, but a few decent rider-made things (mostly made from piles of freshly blown snow)

Snowcross (There are 1,000,000,000,000 slednecks there, but at least we get as much free Monster as we can drink without our hearts going out of rhythm)

tahoe effin sucks theres no snow cept for boreal that has a white, man-made, ribbon of death wit like 15 features on it, my home mt. isnt even open yet though, better than nothin i guess.

My mountains been open 5 weeks already, 4 weeks with jumps. Too bad the jumps fucking suck cause our park crew fucking sucks and can't fucking make a steep landing with a knuckle worth shit. Yah....it makes me angry....

yes it sucks, horribly, right now. it's crazy that the 1 time of the year when we NEED rain in seattle we aren't getting any.... it's coldish, but no rain...
