How's the snow?

going back to salt lake for christmas to see the family next week, just wondered how the snow around the area is right now. going to try and get 3-4 days of skiing in, thinking of probably hitting up solitude if there is a good powder day and then probably brighton and alta for two other days.
looking at the forecast right now its looking like tuesday should be a good day for fresh snow.
anyways, doing my snow dance right now, getting the skis waxed up and ready to go.
 
as long as you do not hit snowbird, it is fucking awesome. snowbird has been horrible, everything got skied so damn quick, fuck. i hear alta's has been sick every damn day. go to alta, who wants to visit and hit the ridiculous attitude at SB anyway? fuuuuck them.
 
lol, about the level of responses i expected from NS. guess ill stick to the reports from a couple ski junkie friends i still have in SLC and weather reports.
and no my sarcasm meter is not broken.
 
If I was in slc i'd be stoked on this, id either have gone to pc and shredded pow or waited til 1 and got a few wildcat laps in and then the next couple days its suppose to snow even more and as long as the lifts are closed its just getting deeper, not that bad at all. But, im not in utah im headed to seattle, sweet.
 
well, ill be up at solitude probably tomorrow. 27" of new snow and counting? crazy, plus the canyon was closed for a majority of today? im sure there will be tons of fresh stuff to hit tomorrow. hopefully they'll have honeycomb open tomorrow as well.
 
lower stuff was heavy, skied some trees off saddleback at the end of the day and you could for sure tell a difference. but the rest of the mountain was real light and great. i guess the rain level was over 8,000 feet last night
 
yea really. rich and i had some pretty epic runs today in thaynes area. park city was raw once again on a pow day so sick. heard canyons and brighton were so sick too. everyone i heard who went to bird and alta were crying all day from it being closed but when it did open was good. cant wait for tomorrow!
