And anyone want to ski some of it with me? I'm coming down the day after Christmas and won't to ride with some NSer who knows the mountain.

I started to build out the park tonight in slopestyle in hopes of maybe trying to get a jump line going. It looks as though it will pan out. I am not going to make any promises though, the snow that we have recieved this season has been incredibly dry and thus it takes a lot of it to build, even though the coverage is good. Look for the park to be quite different than what we have right now in the next couple of days. The forecast is lots of snow 4-8 tonight 12-18 tomorrow 14-20 tomorrow night, and so on and so on. I am going home now

Friday, just stacked the first deck higher as well as the second. Second still has pushing to be done and the thrid will be built tomorrow night as well. Look for different jib options too.

Jumps were taken down the other day because of the 3 to 4 ft of snow on all the parks. I know it was sunny the next day but the crew was in full on maintenance mode dealing with the snow, just remember that everything done is for a reason. The jumpline is back now and a wall ride is added below the line. Also I went in and rebuilt chipper spaced things out and made decks wider and added a 2 jump line. That was last night. Tonight started decks on pats and I park. I know the rain that we had today seems like a curse, but park wise it was exactly what we needed. The snow before hand had no moisture and took a lot more snow than it should to build and the dirt comes quick with no moisture. Look for a lot to change for the good weather on the horizon.

could anybody who has been up there lately give me an update on what the parks are like atm? I haven't been able to go the last 2 weeks...

yeah pretty much all of the jumps are kicky.

but the rails are super fun

and slope is the same set up but they added a bunch more rails and jibs and a couple more jumps

I apologize for the jumps being poppy, my concentration has been elsewhere as of late (ie stair case for winterfest) went in tonight and rebuilt every jump in the Ipark line and the step up as well. I also fixed all of the landings. enjoy.

i'll be up there tomorrow, finally getting to use my season pass a little more. can't wait to hit fresh fixed jumps!!

Where exactly is the step up you're talking about?

Chipper is amazing atm! The first 4 medium sized jumps are soo smooth, and the boxes are pretty dope too. The first jump on the right after the wallride (iPark?) was a little hard to get speed for at the beginning of the day, though..

Rebuilt the 2nd jump in slope made it into a large jump, and built the last jump. also reworked the landings, and built 2 medium jumps in the smaller line. The main jump line is not finished yet and is no where close to the size that they will be. We just need more snow to make them bigger.

you cant really say the kiddy park sucks because its the kiddy park. its not supposed to be good. if you want to do something bigger go to the main park

Been really busy with winterfest. I am taking a night off but tomorrow night will be the beginning of the rebuild. It will be short lived as another hopefully larger storm moves in this weekend. But look for the staircase to get out on the hill as well as almost everything to be changed. the wood wallride and flat down will be moved to ipark and we start to build the 1/4pipe at the bottom of slope.

Sup all?
I'm heading down to Bachelor this weekend and was wondering if anyone would be interested in doing an interview on freestyle ski culture with me for a project I'm working on. Hit me up if you're interested or know of anyone who might be.

Hopefully you are shredding fresh but if you are weird and like park with new snow, we are currently rebuilding during the storm. No take offs are in slope but the decks are alot bigger, same in chipper, look for that in all parks and once it looks like it will clear a lot will be switched up and features will start popping back up. There will be some medium jumps on friday and saturday in slope for a comp but will then be taken down to build more.

Starting the rebuild for the top down. Added 2 more jump and 2 more jibs to above the getback and started a hip, also made the 2nd jump on ipark taller more and more will happen every night. Look for the jump line below the getback and the staircase by tuesdayish

Just got done setting the staircase bleow the hip on ipark, the first to jumps in that line got put in last night there is also a new barrel bonk below the staircase. The last 2 jumps in ipark will be built tomorrow night, and we will move the wall out of slope to ipark after this weekend. The flat down will move to pats. Last night we also made the up flat down a flat down down and set the long flat bar as a long down bar, We will hopefully get the step rebuilt by saturday. also I am chainsawing the pipe walls tomorrow. Look for lower chipper to expand a lot and a few new goodies on pats. Sunshine will be rebuilt as well.

new for weds upper chipper got a face lift, below the get back the is a pole jam, the green barrel bonk got rebuilt, road gap got built, a different hip below that, and reset the spinning tire. Tomorrow night a lot more building will happen. side by side tables (think about it and what that means will come to you) another spinning tire, flat down box, and hopefully slopestyle. After this weekends enter the dragon slope will become a rather large jump line. Cannot think of anything else because i am tired.

The landing on the last jump before the wall ride on chipper is really flat compared to how the jump licks you up. I heard a lot of people complaining about it on thursday. The other ones are sick though!

As you noticed before the last storm hit we were in the process of rebuilding the parks. Right now we will continue rebuilding the parks as the previous storm of 40 inches set us back. It looks as though another storm is moving in thursday and looks to be here for a little while. Depending on how much snow the next storm brings will dictate how much rebuilding we can do. We will get as much done for tomorrow as possible but, in the meantime go enjoy lots of pow slashes.
