i;m from argentina i ski there every winter,. definitely august is the best month to go, Powder, less people, a better weather than in july, sept it;s ok but august is the best u should go to BARILOCHE for great pow, the park is not really good, chapelco (3 hour drive) is better

here in chile its better early august like the best snow ever late august is still good but less pow either way you will have fun
