How's schweitzer?

YOU'RE A SNOWBOARDER!??@!2323-2390-385 GTF0!!!RR!!ONEE!!!DLDVDN!1!1!!F

ask EVAN.F or the soulcrew

they all live down there

i was there last weekend. park is okay. it was foggy and wet when i went. the jumps seem too close together and the landings are too flat. rail game is legit. a couple flat downs, an s rail, some barrel bonks, a flat bar here and there. mountain would be awesome on a pow day

yeah its just too god damn warm right now. hood is supposed to get some new snow tomorrow but we'll see. im gonna try to go back to schweitzer for presidents day weekend if there's snow cause the mountain is legit. so many good runs

No. But whatever, more pow for me. Regarding the park, we really need more snow so that the crew can begin pushing it into something more useful. We'd have a better jumpline going by now if we had more snow. Solution: pray for snow.

so, if schweitzer is in the same weather trend as I am right now (aka - the entire south of BC), you're looking at a lot of precip - rain below 1600m give or take 200m depending.... not sure on the elevation of schweitzer, but the very top might be ok, the park will be wet, slow, soft, but don't expect a epic pow day over the next week until temps to down... if they do.

damn el nino - if my memory stands correct, tahoe should be getting hit with epic snowstorms during our rain up here in BC. no? at least that's what the past couple el nino's have tossed out.

Im up there a few times a week. Its been a strange year. very warm. there is plenty of snow but we have not had any big dumps. just 3 inches here 6 there snowing for a week straight and only ending up with 16 inches. hopefully we get some good pow days before the season is over. if anyone comes up to ride let me know.
