as far as im aware (i was there a couple of weeks ago), snow park still only has the one line going, and the pipe should be close to ready. there are a few different hits:
up-down box
a c-box (that was set up the wrong way when i was there...)
a down box
a couple of kickers
a smooth-as battleship box!!
a shitty little rainbow rail (like 2 ft high)
a couple of small flat boxes
a nice down rail
a step-up which is good fun (but you really have to mack it!)
a mad hip jump
i've heard they've got the quater pipe going
a flat-down box
a really really fun long, wide flat box that you can session all day long. i loved that one, and spent most of my time there.
The place rocks basically. ask ----ArmadaNZ---- coz he's been there recently i think.

i was there a week ago and it was nice...but the parks are still pretty small...the top places right now are cardrobna, snowpark and remarks

only skiied whakapapa and turoa on mt ruapehu in the north island. that has a 1.2m base. not much but some good terrain is now skiiable.
as for the park. there was fuck all when i was there last. a couple flat rails and some boxes. no kickers yet.

Snowparks starting to get its shit right. I was there about a week ago and there pipe looked like it was pretty much ready to be cut. They have a few more rails and box's now and a sick step up. If your into powder skiing probably not so good at the moment. i was at TC today and it was pretty nice snow but we need a little bit more. As far as cardrona goes. Its looking like absolute shit. Im not skiing there until they get some more snow. But they have finally got their pipe open. if i lived in USA/Canada i wouldnt rush over here but it should be ok in a few weeks. It looks like its going to be a season like last year. Shit at the start sick at the end.

1/4 pipe is good, 2 small jumps, bout 12 rails/boxes at Snowpark. Pipe looks to be about 2-3 days away. They're blowing snow like crazy.
Cardrona just opened a new park line (thank god) with 2 small jumps (bout 20 feet) and about 8 rails/boxes. They also have their baby rail run with about 8 other rails/boxes. Their "international" pipe is up but it has only about 12' walls, isn't very steep and is crowded as hell.
Cornet Peak has a joke of a pipe (looks like something out of a 1989 snowboard magazine) and a bunch of rails and boxes with no real jumps.
Remarkables apparently has a superpipe, but haven't seen or heard anything about it.
Oh, and most of the runs are gravel pits right now at just about everywhere at the south island ski fields..
