Hows my progression?

so this is pretty much me and my friends first year really getting into freestyle, im just wondering if how is out progression and what we should work on for next season. (im the one in the green boots)

I would say that's a pretty nice progression! Keep up the good work!

Start hitting a bit bigger jumps, and work on your grabs, that will make your style sp much better!

But seriously keep it up!

Not bad at all man. I was surprised that you guys were attempting to throw underflips and than I saw the foam pit and it made a lot more sense. Wish I had something like that on the east coast - I just huck into hard pack and try to learn from my mistakes!

I just finished my first year as well and I'd say I'm at about the same level as you. Really need to start working on my grabs. Trying to hit MHSSC and Liberty Snowflex this Summer.

If it's really your first year i'm genuinely impressed and pretty jealous.

tips:

guy with the fulltilts: roll your pants down you're not tim wallace

don't put the gopro animations and dubstep in your edits, noone will take you seriously

if you want to look cool you gotta get shorter poles and longer jackets

just keep it up, the more you do tricks the easier they'll get and the better they'll look

keep doing what your doing. It made me smile how stoked that guy was with his backflips, i really love that feeling of just landing a new trick!

Really good for your first year!! Way better than my first year. Where's that place at like 2:40? It looks soooo sick

-Put your pants over the boots how they should be-Dont try and make edits exactly like abek, some of those shots were basically direct copies.

-stahp it with the dubstep

-lean forward on rails

-ski more frontseat

Im assuming its your first year skiing too, you guys are looking great. Its my second season skiing and im barely above you guys, so your progression has been pretty fast. Just work on your style more: keep the hands low, tuck in more when spinning, scissor on rails.

thanks man but i have actually been skiing for quite a few years now but back then i only got about 10 days a season. this year we worked at the mountain so we got about 50 days this winter and had a lot more time to figure out what are doing

I suggest you don't try and learn new tricks for the time being, you actually have a good bag of tricks here. What you have to do now, is get style and go bigger. Oh yes, and learn switch, you'll see it's a whole new world.

For more stye on rails, I'd say you should get lower, and don't be so in a rush for 27s out, you are poping out of the rail even harder than on a jump. And that's a trick to get more style, is to rotate in a one smooth movement, the upper body must not turn faster than the lower body. Get my point ?

nice bag-o-tricks but maybe concentrate a lil on your actual skiing technique, this will also help with balance and style on rails.

omg no these kids cant even do singles you are a gaper shut you mouth but seriously good job guys just couple things , learn how to ski better you are soo far in the backseat and also get lower and more loose on jumps and rails.

wow that was actually a lot better than I expected...

but here's some tips-

1.buy baggier clothing

2. don't make dubstep gopro edits

everything else will come real quick next season because you guys clearly have a solid trick bag to work from. If you have access to trampolines, slacklines or summer setups use them as much as possible and push yourself all summer.

but over all really impressive!

start going faster. a lot of rails (especially that s box) seemed like you barely had enough speed to get to the end, and you were coming up short on a lot of jumps.
