I haven't made it to Marmot yet this year and was wondering how their park is, they still got the three jumps in a row this year? Hoping to get over there asap

Conditions are super bad at the minute, its super icy and theres loads of bare patches. As far as the park goes there is a mini park consisting of a flatbox to downbox a small low rail a barrel jib and a curve box. There was a little jump set up for the rail jam today but im not sure if it will remain. The normal park isnt built yet because there is a serious lack of snow but we should get some next week some time.

If your coming I really wouldnt recomend it right now, I can inform you when the new park is built or when theres decent snow as im up there pretty much every day.

OH... wow lol I thought they would be in full force by now lol, that sucks, I'll take your advice tho thx. Be sure to keep me updated when the full park is read

y! +k for your help

it was just ski, and yea this one guy did 450 onto the up box to flat box which was pretty sick

i was there this weekend for a slopestyle club comp and its absolutely terrible the whole mountains ice and they only had enough snow to set up a mining park with a barell a mini rail a c box and a flat down box i was so disappointed

Like I said conditions are super bad, but we did get a few cm's yesterday which was fun, everything has been blown off past mid mountain but the bottom is better than it was, supposedly more snow coming this weekend, like I said I'll post when the main park is built and what the conditions are but I'm guessing its going to be a long while.

dude i went their last weekend and it was icy as fuck and they had a box a c box and little flat rail and i was the worst skiing ive ever had

Just to keep people informed but they set up a few proper rails under the two man at the bottom I havnt skied them but I think its a flat down to a flat down flat to a flat to a battleship rail, its where the proposed park for next year will be, and apparently some kickers will be made when they fix the snowmaking, I have no idea when. As far as conditions they are a bit better, there was a nice dump last weekend but as usual it hasnt really stayed but its better than it was before, anything else that comes up ill let you guys know. Hope that helps for anyone plannign a trip. Peace.

the park was closed for some contest when i was there... but when i went it was friggin windy and all rock and ice

there was a chute where the snow felt almost like styrofoam

The mini park at mid mountain is now gone, instead where the park usually is theres like a 20ft step up maybe 30ft to the middle of the landing. Then a flat box and a flat rail then another flat box. The step up is pretty fun though you have to pretty much straight line the run in. Conditions are a bit better theres been snow but it gets icy fast but way better than before. If your coming for the 20th then that should be fine although its super cold at the minute and might not open tommorow but should start getting warmer towards the end of the week.

Peace

I haven't posted here forever but I need to stress how seriously LAME Marmots park is. Please if you do go take the time to fill out a customer comment form about the level of ass sucking the park has attained and how you will not return until they realize parks do matter.

Worst park in the rockies. Rabbit kills Marmot. Cop's top line is better.

Old guy out... Carry-on

ok this is technically a thread from last season but I got the same question this season cause I"m probably going this Christmas break and marmot supposedly moved there park and are making it better, has this happened yet, and if so is it any good?

one marmot never has a good park well unless you want to waste a whole weekend jibbing but i dont think they have anything really yet
