Hows Heavenly looking right now?

Well today i went there and their park was super nice. The rails were super fast. The jump is prime. Snow conditions were amazing. Like i was skiing powder.. SO stoked! I hear its better than N* as well, but i havent skied there yet.

haha people were saying Heavenly was better, park wise, the morning was dope, but everything got icy and tracked in an hour.

Due to more open terrain prior to the Thanksgiving holiday weekend Heavenly has made the decision to drop the Thanksgiving Weekend blackout ...days (Friday and Saturday, November 26 and 27, 2010) on all restricted Heavenly Pass aka: Heavenly/Northstar passes. So come on up! The snow is incredible … mid-winter quality. Also employee pass's are now good mon, tues, wed this week (no blackout).

it was pretty sweet today, the jump line is smooth, no speed issues, and reasonably steep landings. If you landed nicely on the transition of the second jump and just pointed it towards the third, the speed was perfect. The rails and bonks looked fun, potential handlplants on the weird axle and tire feature?? T'would be sweettt. I just lapped the jump line though...

Thanks... Yeah were just finishing up Players park (med- aka old powderbowl) and we'll have open on sunday morning. super fun set up and nice sized med 3 pk of jumps.

Those jumps could use a little more pop in my opinion, but it didn't stop me from having a blast today! Gotta love that cali sun and beautiful mid air views! They're blowing snow constantly for the high roller park, that shits gonna be dope!

Why did you guys change the name of powderbowl?Players park? & Ante Up park? Those are pretty stupid in my opinion. Should've just kept the original, as well as High Roller.

the best part about groove is it seems to be keeping the majority of the gomers out of the other park!

it'd be nice to have one REALLY long park like northstar, not a couple jumps OR a couple of rails (cuz you can't hit both) then big traverse, some more groomers, down into a couple of rails OR a couple of jumps, then more traversing and more groomers.

I agree, its definitely one of the best beginner level parks I've ever seen, the quantity, quality and variety of basic features in there is impressive.

High roller is still high roller. only name we really changed was powder bowl due to it was a old run name, and now its no longer a real run and a park we wanted to tie in all the park names into each other around our location (geographicly) so gambling based. ante up is a new park in NV so had to come up with a new name. hope that makes since

hey courtney, yeah we would love to have a top to bottom park too and thats why were making ante up because we can... players park is a small aera and so we have to make the best use of it that we can.

yea they look fun in the vid you posted. I'm gonna come check it out tomorrow. I may have to get drunk to deal with the crowds though... so we'll see how it goes.

sweet! sounds like fun, better get up and get some practice this week. You think you'll change things a lot for the contest? Or can I expect the course to be pretty similar to what is set up this next week?

The level of skiing displayed was incredibly high... I underestimated what the other skiers would be throwing... I feel so... old..

Hows the snow out in Heavenly right now? I'm headed out there the first week of March. Looks like all the Tahoe resorts got a little bit a snow these past couple days but warm weather is returning. I'm hopin this isn't for good....

The new snow helped soften things up a bit, but still pretty firm everywhere around the lake. this week is sun, wind... so maybe more snow before u come?? but on the + side we are finishing up our large jumps tomorrow and we just put on a graveyard groomer to till out landing of med/lg jumps to help things be a bit softer for you guys in the am. -TPC

Thanks man, I didn't even know you had a facebook page. But I've been checking WeatherGeek and it looks like in a week or so this warm weather is finally gonna get out of there and open up for storms to come in. Keepin my fingers crossed

Jumps are sick so floaty hopefully we'll get some snow and get a third in maybe a big step up? watch your speed into the second booter it was a solid three speed checks into it on the first day, but landings are both solid steep and long!

Hey whats up I heard Heavenly has some pretty cool recycled features. Can anyone list what they are, throw up some photos, or point me towards an edit with the features included in it? Thanks
