How's everyones summer going?

Thread title is self explanatory. How is everyone's summer going so far?

Right now I currently have an awesome job lifeguarding over the summer, and its actually been getting pretty boring. But in the past few days I've been helping fill and haul sandbags around our city. We've been getting rain like crazy out here, and the river is at flood level now. We have a dam upriver from the town (Iowa City) and the spillway should go any day now. So pretty much all the businesses and homes along the river are going to be flooded, if they havent been already.

Random thread but wondering how everyone is doing.
 
my summer is actually going great. been able to hang out with the gf a lot so far. i am almost positive i'm gonna get the job at giant eagle as a cashier which is easy as fuck. nobody goes to ours and i get paid $8 to sit around and talk to my fellow employees. the parties have been bountiful so far, and epic to say the least. i also might have found a sick rsx for cheap that's like 60 miles from me i could be purchasing....so yeah this summer is awesome so far...
 
my summer doesnt start till tmrw afternoon until after my chem final but it starts of great!

yup same for me mine has been pretty boring so far portland sucks and its cold right now but hoods tight
 
hung out with friends i haven't seen in months for a week. partied a bit. then went to north carolina for a road trip. partied there a bit. then when i got home, more partying. then i got mono. it sucked for 3 days. then i was fine, just can't drink. watched shitloads of movies. worked a bit and got paid double. bought some dumb awesome shit. then bought some NS shit. good time so far. cliff jumping and all. mono. whatnot. starting work 40 hours a week next week. good times.
 
mine is super super gay. i could see my breath today under the gray skies, and it was pissing rain yesterday. the average temperature lately has been about 10 celsius. my classes end tomorrow but i have exams through to friday next week.

Really awesome actually.

Working a LOT, lifeguarding, which is pretty fun actually, and when I'm off I'm doing stuff with friends, so I feel like I'm always occupied.

Yea same here, but I work 35 to 40 hours a week.

But I think about skiing thw whole time, get home and watch ski movies till I fall asleep.

But hey only like six more months for me.
 
mine sucks. I went out in the sun for one day and now I look like a fucking lobster. And now it's raining, and I need a new car and a new job and have no money. fun times.
 
im pumped cus i got windells in 2 weeks, then i come home for a week and my 16th birthday is in that week, then i leave for hawaii.

windells +16th birthday+hawaii = best 3 weeks of my life
 
Mine sucks, its too hot in this fucking place, too hot 2 ride my BMX, only got indoor skiing to keep me company, even tho thats like once every 2 weeks arrg!
 
i have been skiing on the back yard set up instead of studying for finals. and tomorrow is my last day of class's and my last final is next wednesday
 
starts tomorrow for me i had finals all this week and it sucked balls because i have no idea how bad/good i did on them. i am going to the pool with my friends this afternoon so its tight i guess. going to get a good job at a acme sort of place. word up
 
bof...its been okay, mine started may 23 and since then days have just gone by without me really doing the shit ive wanted, i work a lot and im trying to work out all the time which never happens and the partys havent really come together since all my friends have different work schedules so we just get fucking wasted on like a tuesday like yesterday and its wtv..things are looking up tho i guess
 
Absolutely amazing!

So I have no job, just racking in money from graduation. Got a girlfriend who I'm fucking crazy about. Got a new group of friends that enjoy going outside and living rather than smoking weed all day. Going all over California in 2 weeks to surf, hike, bike, boat, and go to my cousins wedding.

I decided before my summer started to make this my best summer ever and I haven't let my self down yet! Hope everyone else is having a good time too!
 
mine sucks so far. i got fired from the best job ever for no reason, which sort of pisses me off. my pre calc teacher is a fag about grading, so im almost failing that. and the fact that im still in school sucks. and the fact that im in school during a heat wave on the ec sucks too. its like 90+ degrees in school all day. but i am golfing saturday so maybe that will help...
 
got hit in my car, working off my trip to windells by pulling 9-10 hour days lifting 50 lb boxes at my work, and almost got arrested. and i just started summer
 
It's been good up till now. But today I got soooooooo sick I feel like I'm going to die. If it gets much worse my doc told me to go to the ER. Fuckin hell.

Its been pretty good havent got drunk too much. The last 3 days the weather has sucked but before that it was sunny and warm and shit.

Dont have a job so i have no money, but im not stressing about that

The day after tomorrow im going to Mallorca, Spain for a week. Should be all good

Although i miss skiing. And i just had a sudden urge to go skydiving or bungee jumping(never done neither of them, but still)
 
horrible. i cant find a job, and my parents said that i cant do anything till i get one. plus, my friends havent figured this all out after the 500 times ive told them, so i get like 5 calls every day asking if i can go boating or to the beach or to a party. every fucking time i have to say no. fuck my life.
 
shit because it's not summer yet and this last week of school has been stressing me like crazy. finals are over next week and them I'm gettin outta this tooown.. for the summer.

I expect it to pick up shortly following the last day of school, and to be mad awesome!

I'm optimistic!
 
Pretty boring so far. None of my friends want to party or anything like that, they complain about how there is nothing to do but shoot down everything I suggest. I start work tomorrow though so at least I'll have something to do during the day.
 
its been hot as hell here I think that it got up to about 101 yesterday at my house so ive pretty much had to spend all my time inside and someone broke in to my house and stole my wii along with all of the games with it so that wasn't an option so ive pretty much been just been chillin inside watching TV and hanging with my step brother
 
get some aloe, it feels sooo good when it's on. It'll still hurt for a few days, but it will lessen the pain.

and for the kid who's wii got stolen, that sucks man. if you have nothing to do try to catch him!
 
ive had an awesome summer so far. im not out of school yet but i have taken days off to go to canadas wonderland, ive been wakeboarding a tonn after school. i have the sickest job in the world at a transit dock right by the beach. the boating hasnt really picked up so all i do is chill, watch movies, look at pretty girls walking by in bikinis and help the odd boater dock his boat.

the only real bummer is that my grandpa died last week and that was tough.

oh and today i left at lunch to go 20 minutes away to a 30 foot bridge to take a few jumps off with some freinds and head back for 4th period. first thing i did when i got there was lock my keys in the car with my phone, wallet, and my clothes. that was balls. but everything worked out and my dad never found out. rad.
 
Mine sucks...

I had to move back to FL from CO to take care of my mom who was doing chemo at the time.

Two of my friends died a week ago on the same day but two completely different accidents.

I just found out a minute ago my friend has a brain tumor and congestive heart failure.

summer is so gay
like no parties, got hurt at summer sesh(damn tail bone), and all its done is RAIN its starting to piss me off
the only good thing is i get to see my gf like everyday
 
not there yet. finals are next week and it was 101 yesterday and it was supposed to feel like 108 , and it was ninety five today and we were one of the only schools in the county that didn't get a half day yesterday
 
I have last of the finals tomorrow, 4.5 days of school left and 2 weeks till my back is fully healed so i can do things!
 
ehh not too bad just graduated this past weekend, and have been working 40-50 hours a week for the past 3 weeks which sorta sucks, not much time to skateboard. but the partying has been good, and going to orientation soon so it should be good
