I don't see how a movie that is supposed to take place in 1962, before the Civil Rights Act of 1964 can be classified as racist....when pretty much every government action taken in that time period would be classified as racist today.

I don't really see how that's racist. I'm pretty sure they did that on purpose because when he said "enslaved" it was relevant to the black dude and would hit him close to home.
