my question is...what would be the best way to throw this thing? how would you judge it? i want to figure out the fairest/easiest way to do this and i need help. theres a shit load of kids coming, i don't want to screw anythign up.

best trick award, best style award, overall award, and give like a special award of some sort so that not only the best skier has a chance at winning

heres how you do it. 1. realize its summer, go to the beach, drink a few beers have a good time 2. wait for winter, christ its summer for god sakes. NO SKI PANTS IN SUMMER! sorry for the rant, have a good time, but still realize its summer, and contrary to what everyone thinks, sliding on plastic or metal sideways is not everything

have more than one feature. At least have a flat rail and a flat down box. that will allow for more variety because not-so-comfortable people can just hit them straight up, while better people can trick them. And put some padding on the sides of the features

have music, make sure you can get enough speed, make sure the snow doesnt melt before the end of the jam, have a pannel of judges, and have prizes/giveaways if possible

defenitly more then one rail and have more then one age group also set up different run ins for differet features so the lines arent so long

yeah have like 1st 2nd and 3rd place, judged on best trick and style. then have random prizes... like give suspenders to the person with lowest pant sag, a broken ski for best crash, someting for best dressed (maybe ppl will show in tux's). fun stuff

Even better! For best crash give him a new pair of skis, but before you give the skis to him, break them right before his surpised face. The look would be priceless.

only invite my closest friends (20 at max)

have music, some food stuff

a little entry fee and judges so whoever does best wins the $

and i would probably jsut have it in the skate park and lay down carpet, or at my house with my rails i have

have a back up plan for melting snow. Put down tarps or astroturf in case. that way it's not a total bust if it all melts.

Also, have 2 inruns and 2 features so lines can move a lot faster and more people have more fun.

get a flat boy and a single kink box. see who ever throws the most creative shit and the craziest shit. like a 270 tail switch up to nose press. yuhm
