How would the bacons be as park skis?

how big are you? I would buy them as a park ski.... but... i don't have the skrilla for that.

you probably would struggle tryin real technical stuff but if you're just out to have fun they sound like they'd be hella fun

im not really one for switchups and all that business.... i frankly just think it looks bad (don't flame i appreciate how hard it is)

i'm all for rails but id rather either go switch on and thats it or switch off mby a 270 off here and there im just not one for the big rail spins

how do you all think they would be for spins off jumps etc? slower but still doable?

i've had madens and pistols for park skis.

fat skis are always fun. you most likely won't be nailing the 450 ons, but whatever.

i ride 182 moships centermounted in the park, i love fat skis in the park. never used them in the pipe, but i would assume that they aint the best, but im sure you could make due.

they won't be fun to spin quickly, but I bet they would be so fun sticking jump. I mean, a 115 mm platform to land on? sheesh. and they have a 19.5 mm turning radius which is still pretty good so you aren't losing any carving ability

how much softer than the invaders are they?

and skiing switch? i think theyd be sooo much fun but your thoughts?

i think the elizabeths would be a better park ski becuase you won't really need that extra size in the park and the elizabeths are a better park ski thats why pollard rides those in the park and the bacons in the backcountry

fat skis in park= no-good. my friend is quite heavy and doesnt ride too hard....snapped seths.he bought atomic pimp something, even bigger and softer.....what a tard. I ride the elan mo2.2 which are more stiff than the seths and a bit less fat and though I love them in park they really arent that good in the pipe...I really feel the difference, tend to go out of the pipe...for evidence, see my flair landed on the top of the pipe in the crash section

Fat skis can be fine in the park, There are pics of the Jibij guys riding Prophet 130's in the pipe, so it can be done, depends more on your ability than anything else. But if you're skiing icy shit, I wouldn't get the Lizzie or the Bacon, they won't hold an edge on that shit.

You ski the Elan Mo2. Nobody is going to listen to your opinion about park skis if you lead off with that.

I have a friend who throws down in the park with Prophet 130s, bigger and longer than the Bacons. Fat skis are hella fun in the park as long as you aren't spinning to win.

took forever to find this!!

im thinking that you would be better off getting the Elizabeth's since their shorter. They almost have the same width of the SFB's but are shorter and a lot easier to control. If not the next best would be the blends.

I'll let you know. I certainly don't plan on riding them everyday, or riding them soley in the park, or really hitting many rails/boxes with them..but on those special days this coming season, they will see some table's and features when the snows deckedout. Full review coming whenever it snows here...

it would be more work moving the skis around adn if your not hella good you would look like a gaper depending on where you live.

i rock lizzies and lets just say i have more fun now then i did on my ar5s. You land almost everything and with the eliptical sidecut you can go cork so easy. Plus the bacons have the coolest graphic, what with giraffes and zebras.
