How wide were 04-05 pollards?

118-86-111 were the dimensions on the 186cm. just picked a pair up n mounted some px12's on them...SO STOKED

don't be so sure, Line has been known to do this. The Twelve-Sixty line up from the last few years was made up almost completely of old skis (182=old darkside, 177=old skogen, 153= old "the 153") If i'm not mistaken, even last years chronic mini 143 is the way-old Mike Nick pro. Anyways, check the dimensions and sizes of the Chronic Wide, and I think you'll find them suspisciously close to last years promodel lineup, (Skogens and Pollards)

04/05 pollard = 05/06 chronic wide. $389US is NOT a good deal for them. i picked them up pirvately here (canada) for 200CAD...THAT was a good deal!!

"Chronic Wide" is kind of a dumb name, they should have called them the "Chronic 80" and the "Chronic 86", like how they do the Prophet series. At least that would be consistant. Not that this matters at all, but it was just a thought I had.

kk for you homies that have ridden the pollards...i bought a pair of the 186's and im plannin on usin them for all mtn (bit of park, lot of powder when its there etc...). how big are you guys...how do they hold up in the deep stuff...im 6'2" and about 175...think they'll hold me well enough??

they're a full centimeter wider than the Rossi B2 which Rossi describes as being for 50% Off-Piste. Basically what I'm saying is that while they are narrow compared to the super-fats that we are seeing this season, they are still pretty fat compared to what the general population uses for groomers, or even for pow. They'll be fine.

just flexin em here and they're EFFING stiff...way stiffer than my msp's...they hold nice n stable at high speed and get lots of pop?? if anyone's ridden both the pollards and msp's tell me how they compare!!!!

i have ridden both the MSPs and pollards, they are both amazing skis. however, my personal preference is towards the pollards, they were probably the best ski made last year.

scooore hahaha i have them now...so stoked to ride them. what did you think of them compared to the msp's though?? like how different did they feel in the pow??

well im 6' and 230 pounds and they hold me well enough. If your a powderhound they you (and I for that matter) would be better of on something wider for sure but the pollard is unbeatable all mtn. I couldn't believe how well they perform on groomers as well...I love my pollards and have no intention of changing them until i've beaten the life out of them.

all you that have skied the pollard, where did you mount? or did u use reactors?

whats better for allmountain ridin and a bit of park (mounting position)?

mount on the line. These skis were designed to be mounted really close to center, and that's where the line is. good for park and all-mountain.... better for switch-park and switch-all-mountain :D

word up dudes i picked my 186s up recently, fucking pumped to rip shit up this year... glad to hear they're one of the best all-mountain twins out there, i'm 6'2" 175 lbs. so they should work out perfect... now deciding on bindings...

i've got the R12s and wouldn't change em for anything. No drilling, easy mount, scientifically proven to be safer than traditional bindings, and made by line: now they've sorted out reliability problems what more could you ask for?
