How well did you advance in skiing?

well, i didn't learn much but it was my first year freeskiing, just a few rail things 3s and 1s absolutley the most fun ive ever had with my friends though. hopefully more fun next year, and more learning. everytime i wanted to learn something id tell myself i was to do it and then id bitch out. hah self discipline i guess..

Hands down, best season i have ever had.Progressed so much.not to claim like no other, but my friends always say, "damn, hunter stepped it up this year"it feels good as hell, and i used to be the kid that wished he was good, but wasnt.and again not to claim, but i am so stoked on my skiing, and other people around me say so, so i feel soo stoked.I also picked up some sponsors i used to dream about...so that adds to the stokeDont take this the wrong way guys.im not the cocky, dbag, that wears dew rags when he skis, but i honestly am exponentially stoked.sorry for the claimsanyone relate>

I got good at jumping off shit... That about it. My entire winter consisted of, "lets jump off that" and "do you think I would get pwnd by that tree if I huck this?"

best year yet. I got so good at pow. I got a ton better everywhere. Bigger drops, switch pow skiing, better pow skiing, got better at park. I'm stoked!

i had a similar year. i didnt pick up any sponsors though not that good.

i added a full rotation so now im at 1080. and i started getting spining with grabs consistently.

i also learned pretzle. and got 630 off.

i came over my fear of big jumps too..... one day in january it just happened

Been skiing most of my life and just started freestyle this yeargot 3's in the trick bag but still working on getting mute 3's and 5's every timerails just started, was trying to get a 270 off end of the year but that was about it for me

Dude, wow are we the same person?ahah
I took it to 10 as well, only landed 2 tho.ahah.pretz 6 out, thats ill!congrats thug!

best season i have ever had except for a few accidents but they werent to major and i had the most fun this season ever, overall a good year

got better at rails can now slide both ways and spin off both ways front but not blind yet. Got front swaps

Got 5's this year and hit a 50 foot jump.

Im not amazing but still better than last year and considering I only got 19 days this year.

Got so much better on everything. Got front/blind 2s out. Got sw ups on this lil box both ways. And got 3s on lock over big jumps(45ft..big for midwest) also got backflips the last day. Cannot wait till next season

/end claim

yah Im pretty stoked on my season. I improved a ton on rails... I just clicked this year for some reason and now I can land anything I think of! I just have to work on doing them on scary stuff like huge rals and handrails but that will be my goal for next season. I also have to improve jumps. I started pushing it during the last little bit of winter but didnt have enough time to land the big tricks I was trying... oh well, it just sets the tone for next year.

I turn like no other. Seriously put me anywhere on the mountain and my technique can handle it perfectly well. I can do the same short radius turns all the way down the mountain, through ice moguls, crust, pow, dust on crust, groomers, and anything along the way. It may not seem like an accomplishment, but when you get better at turning it just becomes SO MUCH FUN lol.

perfected 3s and 7s, did a cab 5, switch ups, 270s out both ways, cork 7s in the pipe lol, did a few 5s in the pipe.

Spent most of my time coaching, which I would say was overall a good experience.

To be honest, I haven't really gotten better at tricks since I got my twin tips in 6th grade, and I'm 21 now. However, I skied upwards of 50 days this season, met so many people and made so many new friends, and I spent a lot of time behind the camera which was fun too. I'm comfortable with my ability as it is

Definately the best season i've ever had.

things got offto a slow start here on the west coast but once the snow finaly came I got more skiing in then any othere season. I really started riding park seriously and landed threes and started gettin' my boxes and rails down.

all in all, a radtastic season.

i went from cork 9's and straight 1080's to rodeo 7's, cork 10 tails, misty 7, switch 10's fs 810's off. soooo pretty good

i didn't really learn any park tricks, just got comfortable on huge jumps. i did get really confident in powder, learned cliffs, flips off cliffs, and got some super fun switch pow skiing. and i got some really good pictures, and footage. i would post them but my camera and all my tapes got jacked

I went from a normal casual skier to doing 540s and 720s pencil style and 360s with grabs on jumps.

Then on rails i learned 270s on and off and switch ups both ways and i almost got 450 outs down.

i couldnt do a box side ways at the start of the year and i had fischer race skis now i am in addict pro i can do fronts backs 270s 3s 5s switch up and disaters. but i broke my collar bone on an overotated collar bone so i lost 3 weeks in the middle of the season

my first season skiing...started at about late january...got rails dialed 270 off...1s 3s and almost 5s down. mute tails down...HUNGRY TO GET BETTER

id say i had a pretty season overall.shit was pretty hectic at first. just got outta rehab, started college in a new city, and the season started all at the same time. i didnt have my car so i could ride nearly as much as i would have liked.but all in all, i learned a couple tricks, took all my tricks bigger, learned my love for pow skiing, and some other shit as well that i cant think of at the moment.

same here

got 270's onto boxes, switch ups kindof, and consistent spins off

but the only thing i've really done on jumps is zero spins, which are easy

Last year I skied without poles and only skied like groomed runs, didn't even ski park. The beginning of this year i was side slipping down bump runs and black diamonds. Now I can ski those pretty well and ski all over the mountain without question.

I kind of stopped pushing myself to go further towards like January because I just wanted to ski and not really push to get better until next year. Baby steps, don't go too fast, don't go too slow.

early in the year i pushed myself pretty hard to progress learing flips and 540 but then slacked off as i got injured.. but still by far my best year ever

Didn't ski much early season. Had a sick POW week in Killington a few weeks before Xmas. That and a week after new years were the only 2 weeks i got in before February. Didn't improve then (maybe a little in pow since i rarely ski pow). But March was really a month to remember. Last year i threw my first 360's on the last day of the year. This March/some april I really dialed those in and did some other stuff. Sacked up and threw my first 540 (stomped it and dialed it in really easy), dialed my 3's and 1's, got grabs with them, and got comfortable on:

boxes- flat, battleship, flat down, down

Rails- Flat, down

Going to COC this summer, so I hope to get better there.

I had a pretty decent year. I'd have to say last year was more progressive but fuck it. I learned bios, corks with grabs, rightside spins, tried a couple rightside corks, 270s onto boxes (my home mtn has no park), and overall just had a bunch of fun charging and shredding da powda! Crazy weather but fuck it, it was a great season.

smoke weed. errryyyyday

haha jk jk I have some weird brain wiring problems so I guess I get less worked up when I go to try something new. and once you go big, you never go home.

I learned all my stuff off cliffs or relatively lippy BC booters so when I got to ski park for the first time consistently last year I kinda said fuck it, I have 5 days of park skiing this year might as well use it. rails I'm still horrible at though lol and my style isn't really all there yet but whatever its all fun stuff.

i did really well this year. i skiied for 8 years and then snowboarded for 5 and this is my first year back to skiing. my friends called me a beast because i progressed so fast.i love skiing

was a sick season... started upstate new york then moved to salt lake city... the mountains are real out here and it was fun adjusting to them

first year mainly riding park. Got 3's with grabs down and started working on 5's. Im still terrible at rails though.
