How was this graded?

I'd guess

Fix levels

Balance color

DesaturateCrush blacks

White/mids brought a little warm

White/mids brightened slightly

The shooting wasn't perfect but it was good, just because something is shot with a shallow DOF doesn't mean it's not good film making. I really enjoyed it in this.

I fucking love high lining. But that was fucking crazy. The highest i've gone is 123 ft and i was fucking scared shitless but of course i had a lead line but sitll it's insane

I don't think it was the just shallow DOF. The major issue I have with this video is the stupid, likely faked selective focus / tilt blur that they had going on. I thought people had gotten over that. It's shitty in photos, it's shitty in videos. If you fake it, it doesn't make sense.

I didn't really know people faked DOF, It was shot with the 14mm 2.8 and 28mm 1.8 though so I'm assuming it's real.

actually i watched it again and you guys are right, it's like a blur vignette he's going on in some of the shots. What is that called?

The colors were nothing special. Just a simple levels adjustment with a warm/greenish tint with complementary blacks. The highlights in some shots were clipped and had a yellow tint that looked horrendous.

On a side note, did anyone else like how some shots had a super deep focus? The fake tilt shift was ugly, but it was nice to see some shots that weren't wide open like most of the DSLR crap you see nowadays.
