How was Loveland today?

Missed the jam, the mountain was the usual on opening day, kinda icy, got more and more crowded but pretty fun and everyone was stoked. I'll probably wait for more snow and open terrain before I go back, though. Only one run. . .

What do you expect on October 14 anyhow?
 
The only reason I got on here is to see if anyone went to Loveland today and they did... Since Im guessing no one has a Loveland pass how much are tickets and how long were lift lines? Also who knows when the Basin opens?
 
$38 is crazy, the resorts up here are $20ish when they first open with 3 - 5 runs. Much smaller runs, but still... How much is a full day everything-open ticket?

And for future reference, Loveland is full of love.

They had a down-flat-down box, then a down box, and a aframe box setup in a line by the base. The tickets were $38 at the window , but you can get them for 31 if you get the loveland card thing. Lift lines were pretty long probably 15+ minutes. The base was pretty good I didn't hit any rocks or anything like that. The runs alright it has some rollers and stuff to mess around on , and the park was alright but crowded.
 
i was there saturday, the down flat down was pretty fun, and there were alot of little gay jumps and stuff to mess around on on the side of the run, and i actually got to ski powder.
 
who's goin on friday up to abasin? i'm betting there'll be a million people there since everyone and their grandma has a colorado pass.
 
if i go up next weekend ill go to loveland, cause they will have more snow and stuff, and less people, unless a-basin has a good park.

boxes were up, i didnt do any cause im a pussy. shizz it was fun tho.
 
i went and saturday and it was a ton of fun

just lapped the one run the whole day and it was very entertaining
 
did you see anyone with an all green oakley jacket and pants, or someone with the argyle quicksilver jacket candide uses?
 
i'll admit, skiing in the beginning of october was fucking kickass. the "park" (3 boxes) was crowded but super fun to be out in the sun with people who are just as die hard as you are. plus some crazy mofos totally throwing down and killing everyone, like 450 on 270 off, so many spins in so little time!!

good luck to all who are going to ABasin next weekend, as stated before, EVERYONE AND THEIR GRAND-FUCKING-MOTHER HAS THE 5MTN PASS have fun waiting 30-45min in line!

there was like no one there today (sun). You can just basically hike the park if you wanted... and if you get booted, wait for someone to leave and grab their ticket.
 
you guys are soo damn lucky i have to wait soo long to go skiing dont complain that its just one run and icy, at least you get snow.
