how was everyones year?

Well I dont know about the rest of you guys but ive got about 1 week left in my season, and id have to say im kinda bummed out about it. This was my first year skiing( just switched from snowboarding) and it was the funnest time i have ever had. I was just wonderin how everybodies year went? did you progress much? what new tricks did ya land? was it your funnest year?etc.

I had a pretty good year. Nothing spevcatualr. It sucks cause we had no snow. I didnt relaly learn that many new tricks just trying to get the ones i knew to look better.

it was a fun year. i got better and smoother over all but no huge improvement due to lack of snow......... there will be more progression next year, oh yes........ oh yes

You know something that would really make me applaud? A guy gets stuck in quicksand, then sinks, then suddenly comes shooting out, riding on water skis. How do they do that?

My year sucked...Ok it didn't suck, afterall I was Skiing but the Hills in Wisconsin had no snow. A 15-20inch manmade base. I did get to go to Jackson Hole which was the best mountain I ever skied, but that only lasted 4 days. I got my rail sliding down. Just Looking forward to next season and a little urban jibbing this summer.

i probably skiied more this year than any other year, but i didnt go at the right times, i kinda wasted my winterbreak, and i got hella tired of driving up to the mountain everyweekend, the drive sucks. i had a few good powder days, but i swear the dumps were on like thursdays and fridays, and the fucking ski school would ski shit out, ne ways next year im gonna try and ski twice a weekend more, hit up crystal more, wear the pow lasts longer, and not drive as much

last year: my best trick was a horrible 360.

this year: my best tricks where a 720, a switch 540, a safty 540, a switch 5 safty, a ten foot backside, a 360 safty into iron cross, and my new and improved extremly stylie 360 mutes.

i hate having to type that.

For my first ever season hucking the park, I loved every second of it.

Before I came back home I was able to do all the basic grabs and was sticking 360's.

Now that we are coming into our winter, Im going to try 5's and 3 grabs or something.

What gravity?

i started skiing last year so i had to get my basics down last year. this year i learned how to do 180s, the pipe, tried a rail and tried a 3,....this has been my best season yet (anything's better than your 1st year....) but its not over yet! i think i just got confidence now

maybe

its good to see that some people are having fun, and i dont know this was my first year skiing and i landed 5 grabs, backflips, 720s, rodeo lui kangs and switch 3s, thats probably going to be hard to top for next year, i think i will just work on putting style into them.

This year was so great, I improved my skiing so much, and got to ski big mtn! I wasnt great at jibbing last year and bought some twins almost a year ago to this date. I set some big goals for myself and accomplished almost all of them. I cant believe the season is over, I can vividly remember posting here all summer, talking about camps, trampoline shit, water ramps and how tim was rippin it up while we were counting down the days. Im glad I got to go almost every week, I probably spent $200 on gas alone. I hope everyone else had as much fun as me.

my year was fucking rad.....i dont think i had more progress in one year

This year was good, although the conditions werent that great, I just got into newschool this year. At the start I was doing safetys and lui kangs, then I stomped a 360, after that I started doing rails.

when life gives you a lemon throw it at someone

begining of the year best trick was the gayest mute you have ever seen. now its a switch 540 and rails. i came sooo damn close to landing a 720 too.

maybe

i just started in the park this year, i barely got to go skiing this year, but i learned to do a lot of new stuff. i have a few days left, n im hoping to get better at rails n add style to my spins.

I thought D-spin would have been able to do D-spins since he wanted the name so badly. dah well. Haha my season never ends, damn. Not that it's any work though I love it!

AS my first year in freeride I can say this has been some of the best times I've had skiing since I was kid at horseshoe. I love this sport and everything about it. As far as my progression this year, we'll pretty much everything I know. I guess I'm happy, I just love ridin and chillin wit da peeps I chill wit. JC foeva! haha

Best year of my life! I finaly got a seasons pass, and I learned so many new tricks. I passed my expectations by the end of January! I met so many cool people, and made alot of friends at my hill, skiers, boarders, lifties, and ski patrol. Entered my first comp and finally felt what it was like to see people who were better than me.

I learned how to rail in the park, then I learned how to rail in the city, whish might have been teh coolest thing I learned all year.

Anyways, I'm gonna miss it all, but I've got a big summer planned so hopefully it'll go by quick.

This is my ninth year skiing. I'm 14 and live in michigan. Despite our severe

lack of a winter I still managed to make alot of progression. I learned backflips,

fronts, switch backs, 900's w/ grabs, corked 7s, flairs and rodeo fives. I also

can do alot of new rails like rainbows and kinks. Hopefully we get a better winter

next year though.

This year was solid for me. I got the 360 an 540 nailed an can throw almost every grab into them. I can get around on a 720 but cant land it yet/ I took 2nd at my big air comp with a 360 toxic. I wanted to learn inverts but I will at SMS this summer

this year was mad, my first year off from racing and i seemed to be landing everything from corcked 720 mute to switch threes and my seasons still not done yet, oh yeah and lots of sweet powder gave me some sick lines at marmot and norquay
