i was thinking of sleeping in my tahoe and was wondering what i need?

what type of sleeping bag?

how cold can it be outside and still safe to sleep inside?

i heard someone say crack the windows how many windows how much and why?

How about using a room heater?

how to keep equiptment dry?

is it even legal to sleep in your car?

anything else i missed?

thanks for the help

what type of sleeping bag? one rated to -10

how cold can it be outside and still safe to sleep inside? Cold

i heard someone say crack the windows how many windows how much and why? So you don;t breath in all your carbon Dioxcide and die. Just enough that some air gets in.

How about using a room heater? Probably not nessary. Keep the heast on full blast then turn off the car and hit the sack.

how to keep equiptment dry? Keep it in the car?

is it even legal to sleep in your car? Who's gonna stop you?

anything else i missed? A girl and some condoms

good luck gettin chicks to sleep in ur tahoe. get a bag rated to abut -15 celsius that should do it. u dont really need a space heater, but a small campstove would do cause u could boil water and stuff, and it would give off a little heat too, just crack the window when usin it. When ur sleepin, just open the vents in the dash, thatll keep some fresh comin in.

get a really good sleeping bag

crack the windows so moisture can get out and youre stuff won't get soaked and freeze

kev has got it down pat...dont forget some bud and beer...maybe thats not your thing but i cant go a night in car without one or the other.

in some states you can get a ticket for sleeping in your car, but im not sure.

next winter me and my dad are gonna sleep in his truck on the weekends in vermont, hes getting one of those campers that fits in the bed and is all self contained.

I'd rather get ticketed in my car and be safe than build a snowcave and get plowed over. There were two kids a few years ago who dug a snowcave to stay in for the night in the Okemo parking lot and they pushed the snow over them unknowingly. I'm pretty sure they both suffocated, so play it safe.

Yeah, im not too sure about the heater thing dude, gas heaters give off carbon monoxide which will kill you, so just run your car heater before you sleep to start off with some heat and you will be good
