my boots smell really nasty and its getting rediculously bad and making my whole dorm room smell. anyone know what i should do to wash them? i have the 1080 boots that are like 4 years old and they smell nasty

i dry them out after i ride everytime but its just wicked bad. would it work if i tried washing them out with laundry detergant?

Dude i have the same prob. ive tired airing them out for like 2 weeks in the sun in the summer, foot powder, ect and nothing worked!

I have the same problem with my shin pads for hockey. They stink bad, but i guess i could wash them if i wanted. Try baby power, just dump some on there.

I had the same problem. I just put them in the washing machine (the liners) on cold and the gentlest cycle. It helped alot. You have to leave them out to air dry for a good 2 days. Mine still smell a little.....2 washes might be neccessary if the smell is raging out of hand. Good luck bro, I know how you feel.

^you could try that, but put a bunch of baking soda in the wash with it. it will take the odor out of the liners.

either that our you could just try dumping the baking soda in the boots when they are dry and airing them a while. that should help if you dont want to take a chance of getting them wet.

yo, i just throw 'em in my washer and it works fine. but i don't know about any other boots. ive got some rossi's about 4 years old.

I was thinking of throwing my liners in the wash today, and reading this thread just backs that decision up.

i just have a regular shitty liner.. its not hot form or anything. im gunna try it today and see what happens

yeaive thrown mine in like 2 or 3 rtimes and ieven pout thm in the dryer jsut on gentle instead. once it felt like i had my feet reversed so iswithed them around and then irelaized thta thta wasi nfact reversed so iput them back to how it was and it still flet weird bt liek 3 horus latre it was normal.

The worst is my friend wore his good boots when he did a pond skim thing at Mount SNow. They reaked for months.

just toss them in the washing machine or wash them by hand if you want to be realy carefull

buy boot spray it is called boot juice it works really good. Any smell will vanish after one using! Found at your local ski shop or on ebay. 12$ a bottle!

hAVE FUN
