How TO TURN MY JACKET INTO VEST

Wondering beacuase i wanna turn my Causwell Reasons Jacket into VEST?

WHAT SHOULD I DO?

Wouldn't you just want to turn it inside out and than fold the cut part and sew it so it wont rip more? I've never done it, but that's what I think you would do.

cut sleeves off, fold ends of sleeves inwards, sew ends = vest

I would say don't do it because Causwell's jackets are ill and should not be messed with, but it's your jacket so your choice.

Will do. So i should Cut the Sleeves off. And then fold the access underneath the shoulder and sew that into the shoulder

yea. If there are seams I would say get a seamcutter(thats not the right name, but im drawing a blank) and remove the sleeves that way rather than scissoring them off

or you could save your jacket and buy a vest and when you realize you don't want a vest anymore you'll have a backup jacket. hhhhmmmmm

was going to try the same thing with my armada jacket. but it has pit vents. anybody have this problem?

You can cut through zippers. Just go to Joann's and buy zipper stops for like a nickel.

what you should really do is cut off the sleeves and make put a zipper on so you can always put the sleeves back on if you want. i cant really explain how to do it, but if you cant figure it out a tailor can do it easily

take it to a seamstress.. theyll cut off the sleeves and sew it so it looks good. or just have them zipper the sleeves like fd has with their jackets

OP just leave maybe an inch of sleeve and sew it in, like everyone else is saying.
