Hey Ive been trying some dub corks for awhile now and Im just not getting it. How should I carve in and throw to get good spin and rotation?

did you watch that snowboarder trick tip? you just do one cork... then you do another cork.. super simple really. ..

this is bullshit...if you could do 1 3/4 of a dub cork you'd only have roughly 90 degs more to go....you just be coming out the last cork 3. if this is true do it a few more times and nail it.

most likely a troll, but just gonna point out this is slightly reminiscent of how the Chad's Gap thread began....

haha yeah i thought that while i was replying a few posts above so i added the last bit about if it being true he should do it a few more times and then nail it! covered my back!

haha lol

all you guys are hating cause you all suck balls most likely and have been on here for 3 days

I wish i could help you because i was hoping to find a solid answer opening this, though youre probably a troll, ive tried a few dub corks and most of the way through the second rotation is where i fuck up, i think its a matter of staying tucked and keeping your weight forward when coming around at the very end to end up-upright

if anyone has real advice id like to hear it please

the only thing close to dub cork i can do is like bio 5 to cork 7

on a tramp of course!

seriously if you're just going up and sending it off a jump there's a pretty solid chance you'll get hurt. go find a trampoline somewhere and work them there.
as far as learning them on a trampoline, do a bunch of cork 7's where you come through to your butt/back. if you can do that and land on your back but with your body and 7, jump a little higher and send it, finishing a cork 7 early and then basically pulling your legs like you're trying to do a backflip. it won't come out like a backflip but if you pull it like one your cork 3 will come around.
seriously though, you might want to chill out on the 'just sending it on snow' part

There was like a 12 page thread a few years ago about whether Andy's zero over pyramid was corked.

I hate when people say shit like this. Its so derogatory. What are you, his fucking mother? "please don't do them." What I would do, is find someone who either slays at dubs or is a good coach and will recognize what you are doing wrong. Have them help you with the way to are doing your trick, take the advice, and do your best to mimmic what you are visualizing in your head.

Get the double part down, then get the cork part stomped. Then put them together.. Thats all there is to it.. Or so I read..

asking this to the general public on ns isnt going to help you. just gonna have to watch the pros more or figure out a way to talk to them.

First off how the hell is this derogatory? Do you even know what derogatory means? And I'm telling him not to throw them because how many times has David Wise, Dane Tudor, Chris Turpin, etc come on NS and asked for advice on how to throw a kang flip? 0 because they have some idea what they're doing. Tricks that are that difficult shouldn't be attempted unless you have some idea what you're doing. If you don't know how to do it don't try it... it's not that hard of a concept to understand. If you HAVE to ask NS for advice on a trick you shouldn't throw it because you'll probably just end up getting hurt.

so that will include all advices? even when noobs asks for help on their 360's? wtf, let him ask, he is probably only asking so that everyone will be amazed of him daring such a trick.
