so skiercross is in the olympics in 2010...iinteresting...how does it work to participate? is it qualifications?...please tell me you dont have to be on the national team...and for all the tards that are going to say: dude! youve got no training whatsoever...just shut up and go look at ``how to get to chads from the bottom of alta``. ive done 3 skiercross in 3 years...turned out semi final pro (after top 3 x games winners and canadian champion...4th am after some canada team people and semi final am...crashed...twice...all of this with my fathers skis lol. took a year off for fireman school, slacked off skiing, but moving to whistler where I want to try big mountain comps and possibly the olympics, if I can....its my last chance of breaking through, basically. in one year, the full time fireman job and the settlement will be closer and closer.

Pretty sure you have to not only be on the National Team but compete on the World Cup Circuit this year to qualify.

If it follows alpine ski racing you would first have to get a FIS licensee and compete in those races then once you lower your points you can begin to qualify for better races, then eventually some national races and then hold your spot on the world cup but thats racing so im not to sure about that

ok so in other words...I dont have money for a fis liscence and travelling across america to compete...the max I could do this year is some events out west cuz I am moving there...so in other chances, not a slight chance of making it. though people arent sure...and for the last guy...thought there was going to be only replies like this one...did you know that the winner of the first crankworx slopestyle won on his friend's bike because he did not mountain bike and decided to give it a shot?

i think your just sore cause your adopted and something happened to you in your childhood and no one here likes you all of newschoolers thinks your an ignorant fruitboot who should stick to the fruitloops most uf us think that you secretly snow blade and are still a virgin

you MUST be on the national team in order to compete. to join the team you must meet several requirements to even be condsidered. even if you meet the requirements you still must be selected by the selection committee and coaching staff.

see http://www.ski-cross.ca for more info.

oh yeah, if you think you're getting picked for the 2010 olympic squad, think again!
