How to take off paint on a jacket

Yes, paint remover will be the only substance that will remove paint. However, the reason paint is dissolved by turpentine or other various paint thinner/removers is because it is so basic (the opposite of acidic, but equally hazardous). So, I would recommend the following: first try finding the lowest concentration paint thinner you can get and dilute it a little bit. Apply a tiny bit to a rag and rub in on the paint for about 5-10 seconds. If you don't see it come off, get some soap and water and immediately wash the jacket off, otherwise you could have a jacket with a hole in it. Repeat with stronger paint remover, but be careful to wash it off as fast as possible and do a good job too, otherwise you could ruin your jacket. Good luck
