how to ski cheap in whistler

im trying to figure out how to get to whistler this winter for a really cheap price air/and a place to stay if anyone has any ideas please tell me

Go to www.skican.com/ Im trying to plan a trip out there too. The best deal so far that I have found will cost $740.00 american. This includes round trip airfare, 7 days of skiing, 7 nights of lodgin, and free contental breakfasts. Its such i good deal.

 
Check the magazine skiing, you can get airfare, room and lift tickets for 5-600 before xmas, than it jumps to 6-700. I think these deals are advertised in freeze and powder too. Anyways its a great deal considering a plane ticket alone costs around 400, then you need to fork out 50 to get to the mountain. You could also call whistler and they could hook you up, just tell them you want to do it as cheap as possible, there arent that many bad places to stay in whis (tho ive never stayed at the hostal).

i'm stayin at a friends house in chilliwack, and getn there by train

so much nudity and porn on tv, i just sit there shaking my fist at it!

if you really wanna do it cheap you gotta drive there and sleep in your car, bring all your food with you and just leave it outside to keep it cold. the only hard part is finding cheap lift tickets. so besides that you can do it very cheap

my friend and I stayed for a day all for the low low price of 50 bucks canadian. It could have been cheaper if we put our heads together.

 
get warm clothes you wear 24/7 so you just can lay down on the street when you want to sleep. The cheapest way i think

yeah get really drunk every night and you can stay in the drunk tank free...oh yeah some sets of stairs are heated in the village, theyre great to sleep on...

If you're international (which it sounds like you arn't) try and hook up an around the world trip airfare, thats what I am doing, it costs only like a hundred or so dollars extra and you get to spend time in a couple of countries in Europe of your choice.

For hotels use a timeshare if you can, they're fucking cheap and you basically get a sweet apartment for a week.

 
they have a tram in town that takes you to the hill - so best thing to do it find the cheapest sack of shit to stay in, and hope they have like a ski deal

One of the good things about whistler is all the public buses around whistler are free so it doesn't really matter where you stay. Another thing you could do is just party everynight and sleep in the village but watch for cops in the village...they like to boot overnight people out of there. There's also this huge parking lot just passed the village and tons of people just camp out there...

 
if i was goign to camp, i'd set up shop in that parking lot, or behind the skate park..that way your close to the lifts.

Stay in Pemberton at a B&B or something, it's real cheap compared to whistler and a pretty cool town for snowmobiling and shit and it's 25mins away and the $1.50 bus goes right to the whistler gondola 3 times a day or something
