This really isn't thread worthy but.... ik someone knows the answer on here and I have a rough idea of how id do it but I just want to double check. I have done alot with timelapses in the past but I just got my motorized slider in and have been trying to get back into it.

So I want to do a timelapse of the sunrise but Im wondering how you judge what the right exposure will be when the sun is up.

ex. When I shoot sunsets I start with the right exposure and then the shots go dark as the sun sets, but what do I do when I'm starting in the dark and coming to the right exposure?

thanks guys +k

ultimately you won't know the perfect exposure of the sun until its up

but my advice is trial and error. learn how fast the sun rises up to gauge how much to underexpose. its tricky but you'll get it right after a few times
