I have a question about rails too...if you do round off your edges (you will eventually) they can be tuned and stuff right? Cause just like any ski, the edge goes away and you can't tune them anymore...so if you slide rails, and ski on ice, can you still keep an edge on the ski?
yeah, the part that you are sliding the rail with isnt the part you use to carve and keep an edge on ice.. Dont worry about it, i've been sliding rails for about a year now and my skis still hold a good edge on ice
bend your knees and lean w/ the rail. if its a strait, strait up and down. if it goes downhill lean a little forward, and dont get caught leanin back i killed myself doin that
make sure u jump on and off the rail. Alot of kids try to sorta of turn onto it. Jump, turn, spot ur landing, make sure u look at the end of the rail, and jump off toward the end or if u feel like ur goin to fall
your best bet is to look at the end of the rail if it is a straight rail but if it is a s rail then look right after the first bend then look at the end of the rail on the second c or just look about 3 feet in front of you. keep your feet about shoulder length apart and just wait it out til the end.
yea, quit pussin out you big pussy. and about your edges, don't worry about it, sure it wears them away very slowly, but what the fuck do you care? you a racer?
