How to remove bindings...?

i sold my skis but i have to remove the bindings. what is the best way to remove bindings? do i just unscrew them and ta da they are finished??

try to use a #2 cause if not they may strip and you'll have fun with the lil hacksaw blade trying to get them off if they do. also you can use hot glue as plugs if they would like them plugged. and keep track of your screws being a ski tech i know its a bitch to file down screws to match.

Posi-drive #3 phillips is ideal, but if you are not using that make sure to keep tons of pressure on it so you don't strip that shit.

Yes sir. But be sure to have it at the high torque, low speed setting. And remember, keep a lot of pressure on it so you don't strip that shit.

I mean a handheld is not a bad thing, but it makes it a HELL of a lot harder to take them off.

Also, with the drill, make sure that the ring that goes around the tip is set to a number that will let it give if there is too much pressure. That is how you strip a screw, believe me. I just forget what it is called. It goes from 1-20(usually) and has something to do with how much torque it take for the drive to stop drilling. If you have ever used a power drill before, you know what I am talking about.

yeah my dad has the drill in his car so hes gonna take the bindings off when he gets home. he knows his way around power tools better than myself (hes a contractor). so yeah i think im in the clear. thanks for the help

power drill is fine for removing them just keep a lot of pressure so you don't strip the head
if you're using a screwdriver get a posidrive, they work by far the best
if you're ever mounting bindings, use a screwdriver, beware of a drill, it's much safer and controlled if you screw them in with a hand driver and not a screwgun
