how to recover deleted files?

someone please help me with recovering my music... a dumbass friend of mine deleted all of it

search on www.google.com or www.downloads.com for FILE RECOVERY. you should fine mass programs for free that will allow you to recover leted files. but hurry and do this as fast as you can because the longer you wait the more corrupt the deleted files get. some of the files might now be recoverable but you should be able to get them back. i waited several weeks an tried recovering files and they were just so broken up it wasnt able to recover any of them.

how far back from you're computers history/ 'life' can you recieve/revive deleted files, any estimations?

Depends on how much you've added since you deleted them. I wouldnt download or install anything until you try to get them back
