Paypal is great for paying people because you get the option of buyer protection (item or service) if you get screwed you can make claim and most times get your money back. As well as gifting money (friends/fam) like you can in venmo.
I'll take venmo as payment but rarely use it to actually pay people unless they have good feedback. Because if someone screws you Venmo won't do shit to get it back because it's marketed as friend to friend payment.
A little tip if you have no idea what something is worth you can try using the search tool here. Or go look for similar items that actually sold on ebay (use advance search > sold listing > link), since some stuff will never sell despite what it's listed for.
