I went to a shop and got my boots fitted right but when i hit jumps alot i get god awful toe bang and bad shinbang

HELP!!

-Booster straps

-Foot beds

-Advil

-Ice your shins

-Try not to land backseat

Is there any gap between the tongue and your shin?

Deal with it! Due to toe bang, I haven't had a toenail in years. No matter how hard I tried, I could never get a boot that fit right. I dealt with the pain, lost my toenails, and then the pain went away!

SEARCH BAR.

properly fitted boots

not landing back seat

arnica gel

shaven legs

booster straps

foot beds

but seriously. please. searchbar.

that doesn't relieve shin bang. It can help, but the real problem is ill fitting boots, improper skiing, and landing backseat. Fix those 3 things and you will never have shin bang.

don't ski in the backseat.

once you have shin bang it makes skiing correctly (pressuring the front of your boot with your shin) hurt, but your gonna have to tough it out and do your best to not land backseat if you want it to go away

No for me that was the problem, I did everything possible with my boots, it wasn't a bruising thing for me, it was inflamation of the tendon in the front of my leg and strengthing all the muscles in my lower leg has sorted me out.

Lets face it, if you don't work out those muscles and don't have the conditioning, you can't really expect your legs to take backseat landings on big jumps when you occasionally go skiing.
