No for me that was the problem, I did everything possible with my boots, it wasn't a bruising thing for me, it was inflamation of the tendon in the front of my leg and strengthing all the muscles in my lower leg has sorted me out.
Lets face it, if you don't work out those muscles and don't have the conditioning, you can't really expect your legs to take backseat landings on big jumps when you occasionally go skiing.
