How to not make my footage like this?

I dont see any grain in there at all, the only problems I see are you are using auto exposure which is causing overexposure, and you forgot to deinterlace. Thats why you have those horizontal banding..
 
Yeah I see the same thing. No grain, but definitely over exposed.

Noob's advice: If you have one of them fanceh liek cameras, maybe try speeding up the shutter speed a little bit. Could help the brightness problem and also could help get rid of that tiny bit of blurriness. Just a suggestion.
 
If I remember right, when you're doing the setting go the video tab, and there should be a box that says "intereleve ever _____ Seconds" and there should be something around there saying don't interleve.
 
that's only on Friday's, Saturday's it empty. but we made sure, but they run up on the side and jump off this platform while we're about to go
 
File > Render As...

(Click the format - .Avi?) > Custom template

Click the Video tab

uncheck the "interleave every [] seconds" box

Render.

What are you filming with? I had a website bookmarked that had ideal settings for Vimeo and Youtube but I can't remember what it is.
